That was one of the lines in the show as Jay pulls up to his venue where someone with a French accent meets him at the door to let him in.

The other review mentions the large old car and Jay comments "It seats seven for dinner" (may remember this number incorrectly)

So this show was around about the same time as Gallagher's watermelon smashing routine as well as Howie Mandell. All of which are funny in their own right. Jay's humor in this special was more thought provoking so he was a an alternative to the main stream which I think was the start to accelerate his career.
