Grey's Anatomy: Some Kind of Tomorrow (2021)
I miss the old Grey's
Agree with the other reviewers that the newer season of Grey's is not as intense and interesting as it used to be. It is just meh now. There is minimal character development. Everyone feels like a bland version of themselves. And there are far too many characters to even bother getting invested in anyone beyond the main characters. Good on Grey's for bringing in a transgender character and addressing racial disparity in health treatment but it feels so forced.
Blown Away: Episode #3.1 (2022)
Taking a star off for bringing Deb back
Loved the new artists but please send Deborah away. She is rude, condescending, and egotistical. She brings nothing to the show. Still not sure how she won the first season let alone is qualified to be a judge.
Blown Away: Episode #3.4 (2022)
Why though??
SPOILERS:
The artists were charged with creating a piece made from one of the seven deadly sins. One artist took it literally (again) and though he is talented, he doesn't do well with concepts. They kicked off one of the most talented artists because her piece was reminiscent of another artist. I like Trenton but HE PUT A SLOTH IN A DIAPER! Come on, judges. This show is like candy corn. I keep watching it hoping it gets better, but it doesn't.
Call Me Kat (2021)
Why is the main character the most unfunny person?
I think the character of Kat is written to be quirky but comes off as more irritating. and incredibly socially awkward with the silly puns, the talking to the camera, the overacting. The supporting actors are much more funny and I am not certain if they can give them good lines, why Kat is so lame. The only thing keeping me watching past Episode 1 is Leslie Jordan and the hope the show will get better.
