Evil: The Demon of Death (2022)
I'm just saying......
There have been a few episodes where there have been provocative scenes. There is a time and place for those and this show is more creative than that. As a catholic I know there is a lot of controversy surrounding the church at all times. I feel like David as a character can show his uncertainty about becoming a priest/finally joining the priesthood without ALL the ways it is being personified. Yes... we all have doubts at times and evil is everywhere. I think in the grand scheme of things the show has fantastic ways of layering that. With that being said, I think there should be more ways to show the everyday battle with one's faith than incubus/succubus scenes. I really have enjoyed the show thus far but that's one thing I feel is making me less enthusiastic to continue the show. As a true fan I will continue to watch what has been fantastic. The three main characters have a very special dynamic that doesn't have to end up being intertwined with sexual tension between two of the key characters. I feel like saying anything else will become redundant.
Inside Job (2021)
Creativity with those... could that be real moments
I started watching this show and hours later realized I had seen the whole series. It's one show I wished I would have had more self control to watch incrementally... to make it last longer. It's a show with an amazing cast! If conspiracies had a baby with humor... this is the show I know would be the end product. I would recommend anyone that has a sense of humor and open mind to the "what if moments," to watch it. It hit all the right areas of conspiracies with the notes of comedy for anyone who equally just wants a good laugh. The only downside is there aren't more episodes to watch! Aces to all involved on the show!
American Carnage (2022)
Insulting for loved ones with Alzheimer's
I get it is portraying our former president but if you don't finish the cornball movie you don't realize it gets even more ridiculous. I immediately knew what was going on from jump. Nothing was an oh my God moment. TOO PREDICTABLE FOR ME. It's a bunch of little jumpy moment that don't even make sense. When the guy in his sister get on opposite buses I knew they would be struggling in different torturous was. It is an other teen film fail. I swear horror movies just are not what they used to be. I would love to see something that is actually fresh and has a new plot point. I want something to actually scare me for a change.
