Girl Gone Bad (2022)
You are not ugly...
This movie is utterly ridiculous. Some teenage girl goes on a rampage because a guy kills her crush but they try to make it emotional by adding a theme of "You are not ugly, you are beautiful" and the main girl battles with feeling ugly.
The killer has no reason to kill except OH WAIT the main girl has apparently been sexting with him and he's a cop but wait she's underaged but WAIT she's also got a girlfriend.
Please don't waste you're time on this movie. I only finished watching it because I have a need to finish things through. I wish I could have my time back. Maybe the girl gone bad will tie me up and give me some pizza while I regret my choices.
How to Build a Sex Room (2022)
Giving Love
I want to give this show the love it deserves. I think it's amazing what Melanie does for these couples and I love the diversity in the show, her design range is incredible! "Sex dungeon" is the cliche and Melanie shows how important a "Love room" is. Absolutely wonderful and adorable and eye opening.
Death on the Nile (2022)
When you can't afford Gal Gadot...
...for a full movie. This movie is entertaining to a minimum. Hard to watch the full 2 hours and I honestly preferred Murder Mystery with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston which had a very similar plot. They don't give the characters enough depth or reason and it's a bit like the board game, Clue, but without the player (viewer) involvement.
Eat Pray Love (2010)
Unpopular Opinion Here..
I love this film. To be fair, I have yet to read the book but I've watched this movie now more times than I can count and it's one that really encouraged me to take the trip I'm taking.
Many of the negative reviews here seem to be about Liz being "selfish" and to those I say, you obviously missed the entire point of her story. Liz takes the trip to find herself, she's not looking for love or even friendship but that's what she finds because, hey, life finds you. Of course she seems selfish, she's a woman in search of herself and to be selfish is to say "no" to a man. Liz makes great friends, great experiences and yes, eats amazing foods. And in the end she discovers what and who are most important to her. So to those that say she's selfish, I suggest you go find your own sense of courage and self.
Side note - Maybe it's the traveler heart looking for things to relate to but I think this movie does a great job at outlining the reasons Liz does what she does. I'm sure the book is much better and I plan to read it on my flight to Italy in a few days.
Blue Jay (2016)
Beautiful Film
This movie is absolutely beautiful in every way. Perfect cast, perfect script, perfect acting and direction.
This film displays life in so many ways - the regret, the humor, the beauty and the pain. I would not change a thing and I wish I had found this film sooner. It deserves so much praise!
Charlie Says (2018)
Amazing Cast
The cast in this film are all absolutely incredible, especially Matt Smith. Thoroughly enjoyed this film and loved the side of the Manson story you don't see very often.
I recommend this to any Manson family movie buffs, it's certainly a different side than we see in most films with the same idea.
The Strangers: Prey at Night (2018)
Good God
Wow. So I loved the first movie, I thought it was chilling and well produced but this thing is horror in the sense it's so horribly BAD. Nothing that any of the characters do makes any sense, or even the villains for that matter. Sloppy, easy murders, fingerprints everywhere, stupid parents making incredibly stupid decisions that make no sense?? And the daughter is just...why. She even holds a cigarette like a teenager pretending to be cool.
