Aranybulla (2022)
No, please not again!
2 stars goes To it, just because I can appreciate the effort that went into the making of this series. I see how the actors and actresses tried their best, and I am nice enough to believe that most of the creators really didn't know how terrible the show will be. If I wanna be honest I have to admit that the show had the opportunity to be good, maybe not amazing, but at least not that horribly boring. The pictures have a good composition, but they are simply UGLY as they look alike. The music and editing like a 1000 years OLD movie, the story is BORING, and what the hell is this 'documentary style" telling instead of showing thing AGAIN??
Equals (2015)
Unfortunately it's not working
Okay, so first of all, it's a great idea. It really is. But it does not working. Just not. The story is too emotienless, and of course it's for a purpose, but still. Not to mention that NOTHING happens till a certain point, and when it finally does it makes no sense. Why would 3 random people sacrafice themselves for the couple they just met??? The ending made even less sense. The 5 stars goes to the design. How this film looks like is amazing! The cinematography, the simple but beauty enviroment, the costum design, everything!
Prodigal Son (2019)
The best crime drama series I've ever seen
Okay, so this show is amazing. The way it filmed, the shots, the lights, the moves, the camera, the picture, the directing it's so professional. And also creative. Not to mention that the main actors are PERFECT.
X Company (2015)
Amazing characters, fantastic vibes, a bit ordinary story
When I first watched the series I liked it, but nothing more. And as time has passed I realized how this show stucked in my mind. The characters, the feelings, the vibe of being hunted and living a dangerous secret spy life under the terrifying second world war.
The best thing in the series is the characters. They are complicated, they all have pasts, traumas, and different traits. They thinking differently, and want to live their life differently but they have to work as a team if they want to survive it.
I especially liked Faber's character, because we got a bunch of soulless soldiers and hateful Nazis and then he comes and you see a human being. Someone who feels pain, and turns his head, someone who suffers from being on that side.
I also really liked that the series does not sugarcoat anything, not even torture, not even massacre, not any of the Nazi's horrifying acts. In this story, if someone makes a mistake it could be fatal. There was no such a thing as the main characters do not die. No spoiler, but get ready, you will love them and they will die.
The only thing I don't really like is that sometimes it was a bit unreal and yes, it is a bit typical, not the most extraordinary series.
