Will Trent (2023)

Mostly love it, but I am still BAFFLED.... I read one of these books so long ago that I did not remember anything about it. However, after watching all of the episodes on Hulu, I decided to go back and read the first book in the Will Trent series, while I waited for season two. Here is where the Spoiler Alert comes in... After reading book one, Triptych, I am baffled at the inclusion of Michael Ormwood as a character in the TV series. Having just finished the book, I am not sure how I am going to feel about season two. He was such a despicable character that I wish he was not in this series. I am wondering if his character arc is going to go by the way of the first book, or has his character been redeemed for t.v? I love the (other) characters/actors and their dynamic on the show, so I wish I had never read Tryptich.

Please bring back Mystery 101, Aurora Teagarden, & Hannah Swenson
We were very disappointed in this movie, mainly due to the writing, but also the acting/direction. We also had a lot of trouble with the sound quality. All of this together made me feel like I was watching a movie made by a college student.
To be fair, the actors playing Wynn and Sally were good, and Teryl Rothery did as well as one could with that script... I think Hallmark needs to go back to movies based on books.
I have never written a review, and I subscribe to the Golden Rule, but I read another review that said Hallmark has cancelled the other series, so I felt the need to plead: Please, please, please bring back Mystery 101, Aurora Teagarden, & Hannah Swenson.
