American Psycho II: All American Girl (2002)
I really liked it
A lot of people have said they hated this movie, but I thought it was great. It had pretty much nothing to do with the original movie but it was stood out on its own. The running commentary throughout the movie by Rachel Newman was incredibly amusing. This movie didn't scare me or make me jump but instead it amused me. The cow boy chase music was funny and I loved the entire concept, it was a little far fetched but it was a good movie. I think if you're into movies like this you should go and see it, it was creepy and twisted but amusing at the same time. 10/10
Sealab 2021 (2000)
Loved it
I got turned on to this show on Saturday. A friend of mine came over and started spouting out quotes from the show and I had no idea what she was on about and then she wrote 'Sea Lab 2021 rulez your soul' in my yearbook so I watched to show - so funny oh my god, I loved it so much. My favorite episode is the one where Debbie is trying to find someone to father her child. 'I got you something' 'What is it?' 'A book' 'What's it called?' 'A modest proposal' 'By whom?' 'Jonathan Swift' 'And what's the book about?'<long long pause> 'eating babies' 'you're sick!' 'it's like veal, only babies, I'm talking real baby back ribs!' mwahahahahahahaha that is my favorite part of all time. Everyone should watch Sea Lab 2021 - it makes life worth living. ok maybe I won't go that far but the show rocks beyond all reason!!
Hotaru no haka (1988)
So depressing
I had heard many things about how sad Grave of the Fireflies would be but I was never prepared for the utter dispare and pain I felt watching it. SPOLIERS BELOW * * * When they do the flash backs after Setsuko (sp?) died I was possitively weeping and sobbing my eyes out. If you haven't seen this movie you won't understand how powerful it is. I loved Grave of the Fireflies and I recommend it to anyone who loves anime, but they should be warned. It is one of the most gut-renchingly sad movies I have ever seen. It surpasses every movie I ever thought was sad. Go, go on now, go and watch it! 100/10 ^_^
Yu-Gi-Oh! (2000)
Well I like it
I am watching Yu-Gi-Oh on WB11 b/c I just discovered it but I really like it. The characters are interesting, the plot it pretty good and I don't think WB has done anything to it to cut it down but it's really good and it isn't like Pokemon or anything it's something most people could enjoy. I recommend it.
The Breakfast Club (1985)
Great Movie
I have one question am I the only teenager of the 2000 years who has seen this movie? Everyone one else who rated this movie is 30ish years old. Oyé vay. Well onto my actual review. Except for the totally chessy music and some over done scenes I loved that movie. I thought it was great and it the only one i seen like it taken in that scenery. The five characters, the princess, the jock, the geek, the regect and the rebel are all so perfectly stereotypicalized ( is that a word) in themselves that you can sit there and think omg ___ is just like that. I thought it was an excellent movie, although it has been labeled comedy is isn't really one. I think it is more sort of dramaish, there are some funny lines surer but it is more of a dramatic film. I think Judd Nelson ( rebelious John Bender) stole the show with the best lines and the most interesting character. Well that's all, I think it is a great movie for teenagers of any era so other people my age (13) should totally see it! 10/10
The 10th Kingdom (2000)
I loved it
The 10th Kingdom is a great movie, I have seen it at least 3 times, the characters are vivid and interesting. I love the scenes between Virginia and Wolf, the actors portrayed their romance very well. This was a great movie for young and old, I laughed, I cried and I just watched in awe. I recommend this movie to everyone who enjoys fairy tales. It was a brilliant movie, the costumes and the setting made it come alive. The actors played there parts so well you forgot they were actors. One plus besides the sheer brilliance is all the main characters except for the trolls were actractive, especially Scott Cohen. hehehehe. You have to see this movie
Return to Cabin by the Lake (2001)
I loved it!
I thought it was one of the best sequels I have seen in a while. Sometimes I felt as though I would just want someone to die, Stanley's killing off of the annoying characters was brilliant. It was such a well done movie that you were happy when so and so died. My only problem was in some scenes it looked like someone with a home camera was filming it and it was weird. Judd Nelson is cute, at least in my opinion and he was excellent in the role as Stanley Caldwell. Brilliant movie.
