I found out about Lars Von Trier's work through social media. People were calling his work so disturbing I just had to check him out. Well, I wouldn't say they're wrong. I don't find serial killer movies too interesting, but this pulled me in, and kept me there. Lars Von Trier's cinematography is just so... different compared to other films. The shakiness of the camera is for some reason so unsettling. It adds a layer of realism, that just bugs me enough to keep me on edge throughout the film. Shortly after watching this, I watched Lars Von Trier's "antichrist" which was disturbing, and unsettling on a whole other level. Don't get me wrong, The house that Jack built is still quite disturbing, but it pales in comparison to Antichrist.

Overall, I'd recommend this film if you're looking for something more in-depth than other films about serial killers.

Christian bale was the best part about this movie, he gave a good performance and it's the only thing that was done right in this movie. It had its moments but it was mostly jokes and a good 60% weren't funny. The cgi on the floating head is abysmal, how did they think that would pass, it's terrible. It's literally so bad, it became a meme for like a month.

I don't know what I expected from marvel, all the movies nowadays feel like blatant cash grabs. I did like Christian bales character a lot though, he was cool and as I said before, the only good and memorable part of this movie.

Really marvel, just give it a rest.

I heard about this movie on YouTube it was someone saying don't watch it it's made to disturb you but I didn't listen and I feel like vomiting now please do not watch this just don't I'm literally crying right now.

I really really REALLY liked this movie, I was not a huge fan of Vince Vaughn before I saw this and it made me realize how good of an actor he is (and how tall he is like damn) it also reminded me of the great movie Bronson. (which I suggest you check out if you haven't) The gore effects weren't great but still just as brutal and I didn't notice it at first because the movie really grips you and keeps you with it til the end, I highly recommend it even if you're not a fan of vince Vaughn, this'll change your mind I guarantee it.

My bones did not work previously, now they're better than ever it even made my 'special' bone work 😏 if you get my meaning.

It is a fantastic game though.

This was absolutely crazy and I can completely understand why I had to go behind my parents backs to watch this, it was the most brutal movie I've ever seen and I can normally handle gore pretty well but this was too much, I cannot recommend you watch this unless you can handle disturbing movies pretty well, even though I've seen many disturbing movies such as midsommar, the house that jack built, and my personal favorite Mother!, none of those really got to me but this really did, I cannot recommend.

It was so good the acting wasn't at all bad and even the kids were pretty good the last 20-30 minutes gave me a panic attack because of how thrilling it was and also my incredibly crippling anxiety everything about was just good go watch it seriously.

I really thought nothing of this movie I watched as background noise while I built a model and I found myself stopping so much to watch the movie because it's so entertaining I mean it's pretty dumb and there's some bad acting but it's funny and just plain fun to watch.

I see people complaining about the shaky cam but I mainly listen to movies and kinda watch them while doing other things it was really good I'm a sucker for body horror and this hit all the right spots.

Absolutely awful. I am a huge resident evil fan I spent $400 just to play one of those games in vr, I've played every game even the terrible ones, and even the worst of the resident evil games are a billion times better, the casting in this move was the absolute worst whoever did the casting needs to be immediately fired and put under arrest it's awful. The zombies look so low budget like something you'd see at a theme park Halloween event the only thing this movie did well was the licker it looked like the game I can't say much for after that cause I shut it off shortly after because of how god awful it was if the casting and zombies were good I'd give this a 4 but I can't get pver how far it went from the original games and the awful storytelling of you hadn't played the RE games you would have absolutely no clue what is happening in the movie so bad and don't think that you're going to like I thought that but seriously it's just so bad.

This movie feels like it was made up in two seconds it was enjoyable and so dumb wish it lasted longer because of it did it might not have been so forgettable I can't remember a single characters name except the cats (fuzz aldrin) point is it's so incredibly bad it good.
