A happy Surprise
3 August 2009
First thanks to the Encore stations and the DVR, I choose to record to see later, as I do with many, The Blue Butterfly became an instant keeper. the close up shots of the animals and insects itself are amazing. As you read in other peoples reviews, the story is rather simple. A dying boys "last wish" is to find this Blue Butterfly with the aid of William Hurt, who first refuses, but later changes his mind. the movie may not be everyone favorite if action "Clint Eastwood" style films are what you like, but it your like me who likes a story of hope, then you got the film to watch. It's worth the time and makes you feel good when its over.

legally surprised

I never would have considered watching this film thinking it would be packed with silly jokes and and a "sex power" film on who are smarter men or women. However knowing that it was turned into a Broadway musical is what got me to wish to see it. When a movie is turned into a hit musical, there had to be something there. I was right. Without spoiling the film it was a fast past film with good humor, even a bit silly at times but then isn't that what a good movie is? to take away any problems for a short while and be able to laugh or feel touched? The cast was well put together with Reese Witherspoon in the main role. This is only the second film I saw her in. I hope her parts can expand even better the film starts out as she is thinking her boy friend is going to pop the question, he instead dumps her with the reason suggesting she was not smart enough and a bad sample when going to law school. She wants him back and will also go to law school to try and win him back proving blonds are not just airheads. there are other subplots that go along with it as well. I just wish I would've seen this film sooner.

In Her Shoes (2005)
10/10
one of the best in years

I was greatly surprised with this film, As it reads on the movie when you buy it its a rocky road that two sisters make to find peace for themselves and with each other.

Maggie, a rather airhead at first who thinks of sex to to get things, and lands up not being a nice person, has a chance to make it better when she finds her long lost grandma who helps her to become a better person. Her sister also has major changes in her life, for details see the movie. The acting is very believable as you can believe something like this really going on. Many people may be able to relate to the story. Unlike many films this story is good for both sexes to watch because there is something for everyone to see. By the time the film ends you feel so good that if your were in a blah mood, the movie can lift anyone's spirits, and that is what makes this movie wroth watching.

Trekkies (1997)

worth seeing
13 December 2007
for any "Star Trek" fan, known to many as the title Trekkies will amaze, amuse and make you laugh and even shed a tear or two, for those who are not Star trek fans you still will be amazed at the impact the show made on people and how it influenced the lives of many to do more then they ever thought they could, The is really a fun show to watch -and who know you may find yourself becoming a trekkie too. Not wanting to spoil it, one famous actress became who she is partly because of the classic show in the 60's, while one cast member made a man who nearly ended his life, but that changed and he want on to become a man of science, and people -one in mind turned the place where he works in trek theme because for what he does, it helps. get it see the many actors also talk about the shows and enjoy that what I did not say. it was as I said amaze all who see it,

the best surprise in Star Trek,
9 January 2007
At first I could not get in the show, One day my TV was and it was next, I often use the TV for sound. but as I was watching the show called "Hard time" I started to watch after that and said I missed out on over 3 years of a great program As others may have said, the show is not on ship, but a station where the people must learn to get along to survive. With The Cardassions always trying something, and quark and his cleaver tricks and Odo always there, plus, the Bajorians who believed in "The prophets" the first time anything on a spiritual level was shown in a Star Trek show. it all mane the show worth watching because many story lines continues thru the show. Season three is when it gets interesting with The founders, and later as Sisko realizes he is the emissary a part he first did not like to accept. The final to many show which if described will spoil it for those who never saw it, Just rent it by the season and your get hooked. It is darker then then the other shows but more interesting as the show goes on.
