Painkiller (2023)
I really wanted to like this but....
I really wanted to like this but the more they series went on the more I was annoyed with the storytelling, the rushed feel, and those two horrible blondes (seriously I was hoping she drowned in that one scene). I can't believe how horrible Duchovneys acting is, she really seemed just dumb and incredibly unlikeable.
They didn't build up the characters backstories enough either, which resulted in them being un relatable.
Just watch Dopesick on Hulu, way better of a miniseries. So much more superior with its characters development and portrayal of the Sackler Spawns.
Glen and his family are the only reason I gave this miniseries a 4, however it was a pretty crappy representation (albeit real when the family knows nothing of addiction) of how a family should support an addict.
Again, just watch Dopesick.
A Hollywood Christmas (2022)
Very heartfelt
I loved this! I'm picky about my Christmas movies but if you just follow the formula, no matter how cheesy, it's sure to be a success! The characters are all relatable and this movie is trendy and has a good message. I loved the movie within a movie as well. I would even rewatch this film. The little twist at the end had me guessing throughout and I kind of chuckled when it was finally revealed, I should have saw it coming. This movie proves that teamwork makes the dream work and a little Christmas magic can go a long way! If you want to just relax and watch something simple than this is definitely the movie for you!
Unexpected (2017)
I like the show, Jason is emotionally abusive though!!
Jason definitely shows signs of being narcissistic, controlling and emotionally abusive!! Very toxic. He's just the worst. I hope Kylean leaves him soon!
I Am Shauna Rae (2022)
I want to like Shauna....she makes it hard though
Shauna has a lot of bitterness and resents she needs to work through! She needs some therapy and a reality check. She seems to want to push everyone away. I get it and as you get older you will realize that's not a good way to live your life!
Maid (2021)
Insanely relatable!!!
Wow, just wow! The acting is solid, the cinematography is beautiful, the story is beyond relatable. Every struggle, setback, reaction and relationship is exactly as it appears in the real world. This one got me right in the feels!!
