Smiling Friends: Mr. President (2024)
This is sadly the first bad episode of the series
What a shame. So many parts of the episode work on a conceptual level. The worm cult, the president being played in live action, the president accidentally praising a mega terrorist. All those sound like good concepts for gags, but none of them are executed. The story also moves way too fast. If the episode was longer, and the story was shorter, it would leave a lot more breathing room, and would allow the audience to process the events. It also feels like this is the first episode missing the signature "they talk like real people" humour that the whole show is built around. Without that dialogue, it takes a lot away from the comedy in the show. I really wanted to like this episode, but unfortunately, its a bad episode of television, and an even worse episode of smiling friends.
FUBAR: Take Your Daughter to Work Day (2023)
This was bad
This is among the most bland, predictable and cliché episodes of television I have seen. It's got a variety of "he's right behind me" type humour, an uninteresting plot, lack of foreshadowing on future events, and some of the most bored writing I've ever watched. It's like everyone in the writing room was bored so they were trying to write it as fast as possible, going with the most predictable events as possible. Arnold is surprisingly bad in this, but I believe that to be a product of the writing and not him, you can tell he's doing his best to salvage what little quality this had, but just couldn't. The rest of the performances were of a lower quality, but again, mostly do to the writing. What especially upsets me was that my family turned off Uncut Gems, which I was loving, so they could watch this. I don't recommend watching this.
The Boys: Herogasm (2022)
Best episode so far
Trust me, it's not because it had a superhero orgy in it, it's has some of the best character writing, and storytelling I've seen in this show. This episode was fantastic.
Star Wars: Visions: The Ninth Jedi (2021)
Fantastic
Genuinely, this episode alone could be the pilot to its own tv show. Pleas Disney, make a show based off this episode. It's clear the Vision of this episode was far larger than what we actually got.
What If...?: What If... The Watcher Broke His Oath? (2021)
Not as good as the last episode but it's still good
This is the conclusion of season one. I quite enjoyed it. The story's were mostly good, and the ideas were fun. I especially liked this episode. As a conclusion to the plot it was pretty good. I can't wait for season 2.
What If...?: What If... Ultron Won? (2021)
A major improvement over the last episode
This episode is terrifying. The oath is there so that no one will leave their universe but this one upfront manages to get out of his universe. This could destroy the multiverse entirely and the steaks are there. It's a great episode.
What If...?: What If... Thor Were an Only Child? (2021)
Filler
Absolutely pointless and is literally just Thor starting a party, his mom finding out, and him having to clean up the party. It's incredibly boring and doesn't even attempt at doing something interesting.
What If...?: What If... Killmonger Rescued Tony Stark? (2021)
A downgrade to the last episode, which was already weak
This one doesn't even end. It's impressively boring and bad. The episode is the weakest so far. This one couldn't have even happened in the main mcu. It's stupid.
What If...?: What If... Zombies?! (2021)
Not as good as the last episode
This one kind of felt like a fan fiction. The idea is so out there. I feel like the idea was fun, but not interesting. It was a good episode but far from the best.
What If...?: What If... Doctor Strange Lost His Heart Instead of His Hands? (2021)
The best episode so far
This is different to the other episodes. This one has a darker ending and tone. It's not about roles being changed, but about a man losing the love of his life and doing everything he can to get her back even though he knows he can't. Its a perfect episode.
What If...?: What If... The World Lost Its Mightiest Heroes? (2021)
A little worse then the previous episode
The episode wasn't as good as the last, but it was still good. I found that it had a good level of mystery attached to it. Though it could have been better.
What If...?: What If... T'Challa Became a Star-Lord? (2021)
An improvement over the last episode
It toys around with the plot the perfect amount, and is my favorite episode so far. It's interesting how so many things change. Like starlord being a known person, thanos not being evil, and Chris Pratt working at a Dairy Queen.
What If...?: What If... Captain Carter Were the First Avenger? (2021)
A pretty weak start
The concept of the change is interesting, but the don't play around with it as much as they should have, as well as how Sarah carter had absolutely no personality in this. It could have been a lot better.
I Can See Your Voice (2020)
No
If I wanted to watch bad singers Sing, I would look it up on YouTube. Genuinely bad. Do not wast your time. You could spend you time watching something that is actually good.
When the Street Lights Go On: Halloween (2020)
The good episode of the series.
This is the episode where the best character, casper, has is story arch completed. It's a good episode, with high steaks. Just wish that the rest of the series was this good.
Ojing-eo geim (2021)
Overall pretty good, but the first 2 episodes, and last episode makes the show worse
I love this show. The series is very tense, with steaks being very high. It also has a lot of commentary on some of the toxicity in competition and discrimination. I loved this, but I have one major issue. 3 of the episodes aren't good, and this isn't the kind of series where you can skip over one episode and still be able to follow the story. I enjoyed this, but I'm not really going to watch it again.
Ojing-eo geim: Unsu joeun nal (2021)
A disappointing ending to an otherwise incredible
I was pretty disappointed with how this episode turned out. The final game was amazing, and it was heart breaking when Gi-hun was asked what happened to Sang-woo by his mother, and he didn't respond, because of how her son was one of his victims. But the twist of Il-nam being the founder of the whole squid game ordeal really pissed me off. It made episodes 6, objectively the best episode feel obsolete. I was also really pissed off when Gi-hun was about to end the game, resulting in every singe persons death being pointless. But I'm glad the sang-woo didn't let that happen. It's a pretty disappointing episode.
Ojing-eo geim: Peulonteu maen (2021)
Good
It's sad and tragic, but not as much as episode 6. But still, it's a good episode.
Ojing-eo geim: VIPS (2021)
Very good
One of the most entertaining episodes this series has to offer. It's filled with tense moments and was. One of my favorite episodes of the series.
Ojing-eo geim: Kkanbu (2021)
This is the best episode so far
This was incredible and utterly heart breaking. This is one of, if not, the best episode of the series.
Ojing-eo geim: Pyeongdeung-han sesang (2021)
Was good, but could have used a game
This was a good episode, but a lot of it was pretty boring. Yes, this was important for the series, and it was crucial to the plot, but still, it could have been a lot better.
Ojing-eo geim: Jjollyeodo pyeonmeokgi (2021)
Filled with steaks and excitement
This episode was brutal and filled with excitement. I loved this episode and will say that it was one of the best ones! Very good.
Ojing-eo geim: Usan-eul sseun namja (2021)
First episode in the series that I like
This one was incredibly entertaining. One of the best thing this show does is fill the series with tense, and exciting moments, and this is the best example so far. So yeah, really good.
Ojing-eo geim: Ji-ok (2021)
Pretty boring, but still important to the plot
This was very boring. Nothing of entertainment happens, though it is important to the plot, you can't skip this episode. Still leading to something great.
Ojing-eo geim: Mugunghwa kkoch-i pideon nal (2021)
The start of something great
It is a bit rough around the edges, but the red light, green light scene is the best scene in this episode. I personally think that it takes way to long to get entertaining, but those scenes are important to the plot.
