The Mating Game: Oceans: Out of the Blue (2021)
Capturing Unseen and Underrepresented Aquatic Mating Games
The ocean is where life began, but arriving at today took some ingenious, adventurous, and surprising mating techniques. From the deep ocean where humpbacks dance to costal reefs where the diverse marine life flourishes to beaches where testosterone-filled males risk it all, this episode captures the remarkable ways aquatic life has evolved to reproduce. The camerawork is first class and the accompanying soundtrack is some of the best BBC has produced. Well worth the watch.
The Choe Show (2021)
Heal Your Heart, Make Some Art
It's hard to capture in words what David Choe brings to light through his art. That's what this show is-a work of art. More than conversation, story, saga, or portrait making, The Choe Show touches the deepest parts of our collective human experience. We are all children and adults at the same time, trying to make sense of this complex and confusing world. To have this show to accompany us, whether we're ready for the healing or not, is a blessing. David, thank you for being you and helping us heal.
