Raising Dion (2019)
Watch it!
I can't say enough good things about this show. If you like Stranger Things or Locke & Key, or if you're into Marvel, this is a show for you. First Dion... watching him grow through the 2 seasons is awesome. The kid is great. All the other characters provide a richer show than I expected. Special shout out to Esperanza - she is NOT invisible and thanks for raising my awareness. The show is also true to the topic of race in America and how black families shoulder that burden - but it's not 'in your face' about it. Great soundtrack. Oh, and John Ritter's son? Nice to see him in this show! Definitely worth your time.
Greenfingers (2000)
An enjoyable film
I don't know why it was rated so low. Helen Mirren, Clive Owen, David Kelly - that alone makes it worth a watch. I found it entertaining and quite sweet. And sometimes that's exactly what I need. Watch it. You won't be disappointed.
Blue Murder (2003)
Solid Series
Loved the show. Good stories, great characters. Janine is great - watching her balance home life with police work is inspiring. Lots of humor lightens the series in a good way. Richard, Butchers, Sharp - also make the show worth watching. I wish there were more seasons!
The Beatles: Get Back (2021)
An emotional roller coaster
If you are a Beatles fan, like me, you'd love this regardless. But for everyone else - it's an incredible look inside how a band creates music. It's inspiring, ugly, angry, beautiful, inspirational. And it's definitely worth your time. And you can't understate how incredible it is to watch classic tunes literally developing in front of your eyes (and ears). It's a privilege for me to watch.
Fatherhood (2021)
Worth watching!
I've not seen Kevin Hart in this kind of role and he was very good. The supporting cast was also excellent. Alfre Woodard is always a stand out. And the young actress who plays Maddy was a scene stealer every time. It's sad, sweet, feel good, cry a little - all the best attributes for a solid film. Watch it. You won't be disappointed.
