I don't know how this movie got bad reviews. It's a romantic comedy. It makes me laugh, it's sweet, has great acting. I feel like it was ahead of it's time in regards to filming style. I really do love the story as well. This movie is light hearted and anyone can relate to it. One of my favorites.

I am going to start with the fact that I did not watch the original GG series (I actually read the book series a very very long time ago and they were great). Anyways I am a few episodes in and it's okay. The acting is really really bad and the plot lines and characters are not believable. It is boring but also entertaining at the same time - something to watch in the background or just to turn on when you don't feel like looking around for a new show. I really hope it gets better. I don't like the teacher aspect at all - I actually find them all annoying. I don't like the sisters against each other, it's more interesting to have friend vs. Friend love triangle etc. They need better writers and need to take out some of the cast members bc a few of them are not needed. I'm going to keep watching, but hope they change it up based on feedback.
