Castle: The Nose (2015)
Funniest episode of the whole series!
This is the funniest episode of the whole series. Stephnie Weir as "The Nose" is comic gold. I laughed like crazy throughout the entire episode. Do yourself a favor and be sure to watch this one!
The Orville: Future Unknown (2022)
Funniest episode of the season!
It took all season to get here, but The Orville is finally back to it's original humor. I lost count of how many times I laughed out loud. There's one scene with Bortus where you'll have to pause the playback until you're done cracking up minutes later. This third season was great, but I felt it wasn't as funny as previous ones. I guess they were saving it all for the finale. This was easily the funniest episode of the season!
Beavis and Butt-Head: Escape Room/The Special One (2022)
So stupid it's funny!
I didn't realize how much I missed these guys. I was laughing so hard I almost choked on a piece of sausage. Possibly the most politically incorrect show on today. So stupid it's funny!
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: Strange New Worlds (2022)
Best of the new Trek series hands down.
Of all the recent series, this one has the feel of the older ones. It gets back to doing what Trek does best:
To explore strange new worlds
To seek out new life
And new civilizations
To boldly go where no man has gone before
It's only the first episode, but I get the feeling it's going to be the best of the new Trek series hands down. The story is well-written, the acting is top-notch, and it's even got some decent humor. I'm looking forward to this five-year mission!
Star Trek: Discovery: Rubicon (2022)
Too many commanders!
How can there be so many commanders? Virtually the entire bridge crew are commanders! And since they're all the same rank, who do they even command? It's all very odd, like everyone getting a trophy no matter whether they won or not. If everyone is a commander, nobody is a commander!
On the other hand, it was a really good episode, so I'm willing to let all of this rank nonsense slide. Enjoy!
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: In the Cards (1997)
Delightfully absurd!
This episode is just goofy fun. Jake and Nog take the reins and guide us through a series of hijinks and encounters that get increasingly but delightfully absurd as the episode unfolds. It's a nice break from the seriousness of the Dominion War storyline (even though Kai Winn and Weyoun do keep that chugging along here). I found myself laughing out loud at the hilariously ridiculous scene in Dr. Giger's laboratory. Don't take this episode too seriously and enjoy the nonsense!
Kaubôi bibappu: Cowboy Bebop: Mushroom Samba (1999)
My favorite episode of the bunch!
This episode had me laughing all the way through. Ed, Ein, and magic mushrooms: that says it all. Really, it's too bad they don't let Ed take point more often. Don't miss this one!
Cobra Kai (2018)
Ten times better than the movies!
I'm truly surprised at just how good this series is. I gave it an initial watch just to see what's what and quickly found myself hooked. Part of what makes it great is the combination of so many different things in one package: coming of age, action, drama, and humor. And I have to say that William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence is comic gold. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard at a TV character. Everyone from teens to octogenarians can enjoy this show, but it really is a special treat for those of us who grew up in the 80's.
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Body Parts (1996)
Ferengi Shenanigans!
I always enjoy the Quark episodes, and this one might be the best. I laughed out loud multiple times during this one. Brunt makes an appearance as the villain, and Rom and Garak round out Quark's 'team'. The perverse Ferengi worldview drives the humor, and the guest stars take center stage in this one. I wouldn't miss it for ten bars of gold-pressed latinum!
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine: Bar Association (1996)
Funniest Trek scene of all time!
This episode is worth watching solely for the exchange between Rom and Leeta in Quark's regarding oo-mox. Funniest Trek scene of all time! Even tops all of those Q moments that crack me up.
