The Shield: Chasing Ghosts (2007)
Season 6, Episode 6
10/10
Phenomenal acting
15 May 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Can't believe this episode is only rated 8.8

Let's talk about this incredible scene that went on for several minutes, Vic exploded in anger and grief towards Shane, while Shane defended his actions as being what he felt he had to do at the time. A lot came out in this argument, as Shane brought up Vic's murder of Terry, who Vic dismissed as a "traitor" who deserved what he got versus Lem. Vic even expressed pain over torturing Guardo, blaming Shane for turning into something he's not. But we've seen in the past that Vic is the one who led Shane down this path, so Shane's words to Vic were extremely biting thanks to their truth, as he said, "You think you're looking at me through some window, but all you're doing is looking into a mirror."

Micheal Chiklis and Walton Goggins are phenomenal.

Shōgun (2024–2026)
7/10
Not the masterpiece that I was promised...
14 May 2024
This show has good points. The photography is correct, the music too, the historical respect probably too, with attention to the detail of this civilization and this very particular era. But I still find the series quite disappointing.

If i really want to be honest, Shogun is a bit...boring. Far from me the idea that a series must have a lot of action to endorphin the hollows of the mind, but here I still expected much better, Shogun is a bit of an empty shell, a lot of filler and length painful.

When we land in the middle of a story of an internal conflict that threatens the whole of Japan, with the 2 most powerful clans in the country, overtones of war and repeated battles throughout, we expect that it ends up breaking, Seeing the art of samurai war.

But actually no. Rather, we see a series of political maneuvers, cunning or not, mixed with the very atypical reaction that the protagonists of the series have, and their overinflated honor, just like the proportions that it takes and which can seem a bit ridiculous, seen from our perspective.

I found the acting quite decent, but I have a little trouble with English, I don't know if he's supposed to play this idiotic, crude and quite apathetic character, but if that's the case he plays well, because he is difficult to like.

Some are comparing Shogun to Game of thrones... Lett me be clear, it's not.

True Detective (2014– )

Fire this "Issa Lopez"
11 April 2024
HBO : Hey let's fire the guy behind True Detective season 1 and hire another random dude instead !

Issa Lopez : Give us one of the worst seasons of television ever produced.

Nic Pizzolato : Attack the season and say it's garbage (what is in his rightfull rights).

HBO : hey this guy denigrates feminism and have an ego because he made season 1, let's renew the show for a season 5 with Issa Lopez again !

Let's be honest, this show will no longer have a "8.9" general rating with now Issa Lopez in command. What a shame that now HBO renews shows because of the numbers and not the quality. What happened to True Detective is really sad to be honest. Yes seasons 2/3 were not perfect but there were still decent seasons and HBO should have lett a chance to Pizzolato for making a season as good as season 1. Instead we got this clown of Lopez who will send us every progressive message imaginable...

You may wonder why i still rate this show a 9, well that's because season 1 still exist and i can't rate this show below a 9 because of that. Of course everyone would have rated True detective 10 if it was just a mini serie but unfortunately it's not. On the other hand i rate Fargo a 10 because it's a better anthology serie and because Fargo gave us 2 masterpiece season and 1 great (season 3).

So why this show is so high rated if season 4 is horrible ? Well that's because season 1 of True Detective is one of the best seasons of television ever produced. Everything about this season is amazing : writing, actors, direction... But then the quality didn't follow like Fargo. Season 2 is mediocre. Season 3 is good but have a dissapointing ending. And season 4 is unwatchable.

Ozark (2017–2022)
8/10
A great show ruined by an horrible season finale
27 March 2024
Ozark was such an amazing show during his 3 first seasons, a masterpiece of drama combining poignant intrigue, mastered production, meticulous writing touched by a dose of skillfully distilled black humor. It's was one of my favorites shows and one of the few that I rated 10 but now i just give it a 8 because the season finale has completely ruined my love for this show because this season 4 was so bad oh my god...

For real Ozark season 4 is one of the worst seasons finales i've ever seen with Dexter season 8, Peaky blinders season 6, GOT season 8, TWD season 11, House of cards season 6, Vikings season 6, Westworld season 4, etc... and i don't understand why i was the only one shocked by how bad this season finale was ?

Season 4 is lack of action, tension or typical Ozark's plot twist/violence. The pace is extremely slow and storyline does not conclude properly. Everything goes so fast around the last 30 minutes, and so many questions to answer. It's predictable, and weak compared to the quality of the 3 first seasons, did they switch of writers or what ?

There was characters coming in and out and one minute they all hate each other and then don't. It was just inconsistent and felt like they weren't sure how to finish everything. A lot of plots ultimately lead to nothing more than a pointless storyline.

The ending is a joke, it doesn't feel like an ending. Just a regression of most of the characters and the final scene is nonsense in every conceivable way. Ozark ending fails while Sopranos ending doesn't. The writers did not spend any effort on the final and find how to resolve the built-up tension through four seasons! It felt like a last-minute homework of a terrible student. What a waste, this season finale just ruins the show !

Sons of Anarchy: Aon Rud Persanta (2013)
Season 6, Episode 11
10/10
Absolutely incredible and shocking
27 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was a tense and shocking ride through Jax's plan to get the motorcycle club out of the gun business. The pressure between SAMCRO and Gaalan had been building all season, and it all came to a violent end when Jax's real plans made themselves known.

I must admit that I did not at all expect Sons of Anarchy to take its courage in both hands and finally face what we have been waiting for for quite some time now. Especially since Clay, since he is in prison, is not necessarily of much use but I must admit that there are still quite a few very good ideas here and there. Especially from the point of view of how Clay sees his last moments coming. I've already thought about the fact that Clay has to die, especially because it ultimately happens at an almost unexpected time. I didn't expect Sons of Anarchy to dare to kill Clay at all. Especially because Ron Perlman was for a long time one of the emblematic figures of the series. Seeing him die at the hands of Jax was even more impressive but that's just the twist in something else. In any case, Sons of Anarchy delivers a breathtaking scene, gripping the guts thanks to a sober and rapid staging, and a leaden silence. The death knell being sounded by the gunshot.

The pathos that the show tries to manage during Clay's final moments was brilliant. Especially because Sons of Anarchy is not just a violent series with action scenes on motorcycles, it is also a drama. It's a story of friendship, love and encounters. This season is also the most emblematic from this point of view with the story of Tara which allowed the series to make us discover another aspect of her personality.

The truth is that Bella Ramsey sucks as Ellie
7 March 2024
I'm sorry but can we stop lying to ourselves just for 10 seconds ?

You can't argue with the facts, Bella Ramsey is not good at all playing Ellie and i'm not even saying that because i don't like the actress or because i think she can't act. No, i say that because she plays Ellie in a completely unbearable and vulgar manner. She speaks with the words and cadence of a middle-aged smartass American writer during a cocaine binge.

What made Ellie such a great character in the game are her displays of innocence and ability to find joy in dark times, all while giving lighthearted, snarky remarks. The Ellie in the show displays ungrateful, annoyed, and irritated attitudes and it ruins the beauty of the original story.

The cast of Ellie is a complete Failure. But I guess that sending a progressive message was more important than cast actors with more resemblance to the characters in the game. Pedro Pascal on the other hand is ok as Joel but we all know it could have been better...

And if only the horrible cast of Ellie was the only problem of the show but it's not. I love TLOU 1 and 2 both games are absolute masterpiece but i still think this show is mediocre at best and overated. The worst part is that the show completely disrespects the game by skipping and rushing the best parts of the game, and even sometimes completely change the course of the game to implant a gay romance. Like i said producers of the show are more interested sending a progressive message than doing their best to respect the game. 9 episodes was far too little to transcribe the game. The season needed at least 13 episodes. It's like game of thrones season 8 having 6 episodes when it needed at least 10 episodes.

People saying The last of us is a better show than The walking dead make me laught, this show doesn't hold a candle to the first 6 seasons of The walking dead.

I'm glad that the show has lost his 8.8 general rating because it was so overated. Season 2 with bella ramsey is going to be a disaster i am certain and hopefully the show will downgrade to 8.6.

Arcane (2021– )
10/10
The most amazing show i've ever seen since Breaking bad GOT and AOT
6 March 2024
Never in my life have I watched anything that has captivated me in such a way since Breaking bad, Game of thrones and Attack on titan. I mean I've seen lots of excellent shows but this kind of absolutely perfect series which transports you in this way are so rares. Arcane is grandiose, perfect, absolutely flawless. The characters the narration the perfect pacing these magnificent visuals this series is absolutely incredible and addictive.

The storyline gives us ample time to get to know and understand the characters personal background which reflects in how they act and respond to the storylines.

The characters are complex enough for us to get a genuine attachment to them, which results in a constant curiousnes of wanting to know how our favorite characters fare in the overall storyline.

The characters let's talk about them. Oh my God... The characters are extraordinary, no unnecessary, useless, or filler characters. You'll love and remember each of them for a long time. You won't forget the name of any. You might even find yourself empathizing and respecting the main antagonist so much. Every character here has their own story, motivation, purpose, and personality without exception.

The characters, world, visuals, directing, just all of it is perfect. The emotional weight that this series has is also just unlike anything else, things are seriously just so so heavy. From the artwork, to the musical score, to the intense storyline and relationships between characters that will break your heart. This show tells a dark and twisted story of love, family, betrayal, and power, and it does it in the GREATEST way possible.

I am really serious when i say that Arcane is the best show currently going at this time. Even The boys, Strangers things, House of the dragon, Severance and more does not reach the level of perfection that Arcane did.

The year 2008-2013 had Breaking bad The year 2014-2016 had Game of thrones (season 7/8 sucks) The year 2017-2023 had Attack on Titan Now Arcane take the leads.

Fargo (2014–2024)
10/10
Season 1 & 2 are so AMAZING !
24 February 2024
Fargo is an absolute masterpiece and one of my favorite shows all time. This show doesn't have a general rating of 8.9 for nothing.

First the EXTRAORDINARY atmosphere of the Cohen brothers' film, this sensation like no other, which takes hold of us when we enter with the characters into this universe as dark as it is crazy. Fargo immerse you in this special world that is the snowy Minnesota of the Cohen brothers. And more than represented, it is developed here, with talent.

Secondly a stroke of pure and simple scriptwriting genius. To be able to fascinate to this extent, from the first episode, was very strong. And yet. Paced in an almost dreamlike manner, each episode of the series will take its time to reestablish the atmosphere that has disappeared since the previous week, before taking you by the guts with talent, bringing you down with it into the barbaric violence hidden by this snow white and immaculate. Ultra violent, bloodshed is rare, the series preferring to torture its characters psychologically. Lester's evolution (which I feared was a copy and paste of that of Walter White), is more than intelligent. Like i said, the writing is so brillant. An investigation with multiple twists and turns, in a remote town populated by formidable losers, notorious incompetents, methodical and relentless killers, and devious manipulators.

Thirdly the actors. They are all amazing (except those of season 4) but all the credits goes to Martin Freeman and Billy Bob Thorton who delivered 2 performances that are among the best in television and i'm not even exaggerating. Martin Freeman plays a perfect loser to who we become attached quite quickly, he plays on his qualities already known for often seeming to be completely out of sync with the situations and characters he will face. Billy Bob Thomton is absolutely phenomenal as a cold, methodical and intelligent killer. Lorne Malvo is easily one of the best villains of television and i'm still not exaggerating.

Fourth the music. The music is magnificently beautiful and the series is filled with little melodies that accompany the scenes (mainly in season 1).

Fifth this is the best anthology serie ever. Fargo beat true detective because Fargo offers 2 amazing season and 2 ok seasons while true detective only offers 1 amazing season and 1 ok season (season 3).

No episode is too much, everything is orchestrated to perfection, the work absolutely does not lack rhythm and we remain glued to these 10 episodes of very high quality.

Succession: Connor's Wedding (2023)
Season 4, Episode 3
1/10
The most overated episode of all time
17 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
There is NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING that justifies such a gigantic rating for this episode. I can't believe this episode is still 9.9 after 1 year. This episode shames and discredits the reliability of IMDB ratings and it makes me angry. I love IMDB and seeing bad tv shows or episodes being overated makes me wanna puke. The episode "The rescue" from The mandalorian being rated 9.8 was already a big joke but now "Connor's wedding" from Succession makes you wonder if the system is not broken.

Let's talk about the episode. I'm gonna be short. Connors, Kendall, Shiv and roy are in a wedding then suddently plot twist tom call kendall to show us that roy did a heart attack. Ok that was unexpected and coming from nowhere. Then for 30 minutes we are watching hateful characters crying about their dad dying. The acting is great yes and like i said that was a unexpected twist but that's it lol. That's it you give 9.9 for that are you kidding me ? This episode offer nothing spectacular nothing thrilling it's empty. What mainly happens is the Roy kids who are crying the whole episode lmao.

This episode doesn't even come close to the greatness of Rains of castamere from GOT who is also a wedding episode and you still give it a 9.9 ?

Game of thrones deserve every of his 9.9

Breaking bad deserve every of his 9.9

Mr. Robot deserve his 9.9

Better call saul deserve his 9.9

Six feet under deserve his 9.9

And then there this overated piece of crap called Connor's wedding...

Bring this masterpiece to 9.8 please
15 February 2024
When i see average episodes like "The rescue" from The mandalorian or "Connor's wedding" from Succession being better rated than this masterpiece i wanna throw up. This is my favorite episode of television of all time and trust me i've seen a lot of tv shows but no one compare to "Runtime error' from Mr. Robot. Everytime i watch this episode i get chills, this is the most ambitious and spectacular episode i've ever seen. Amazing immersion coupled with a race against time, structured around Elliot who tries to stop the machine and Angela who on the contrary tries to carry out fsociety's orders, the episode is so thrilling. The form, perfectly mastered, follows the very tense plot, offering enjoyable adrenaline rushes. See the camera move from one room to another, fly over partitions, switch to news or escape from the building... It's just perfection.

This episode have to be at least rated 9.8 !!!

Boring as fk and very overated
12 February 2024
This show is so overated. There is not a single endearing character in this series. The plots are boring and stupid. These incessant zooms of the wired camera on faces are fking unbearable. The story is so shallow and the characters are so damn boring, all daddy's spoiled spoiled babies. All the ridiculous situations and overly sexualized dialogues are completely unrealistic and unbearable. This series is so slow and lame that it becomes unwatchable, and there are people who sell it to you as brilliant and crazy writing lol It's so overrated, this is the most overrated series of all time and the show robbed the emmys to better call saul.

It was rated 8.9 now it's 8.8 ah ah don't cry :)

True Detective: Night Country: Part 3 (2024)

Fargo > True Detective
29 January 2024
As always True Detective disappoints. The acting is getting worse and worse with those awful lines. The writing is so bad that it gets funny, it's like it was written by kids.

Very slow moving. Pointless characters. Dialogs are hilariously bad. This story is not going anywhere. I dont expect season 4 to get any better from here so I think...

Fargo season 5 is maybe a disappointment too yes but it's nowhere near as horrible as True Detective season 4. Fargo season 1 to 3 is a masterpiece when on the other hand you have True Detective who has only succeded with his season 1... Fargo will be always better than True detective, and for me Fargo season 1 beat True detective season 1.

UNBELIEVABLE ! MASTERCLASS OF ACTING, DIRECTION, SCRIPWRITING
15 January 2024
My god ! The last 5 minutes are simply mind-blowing i can't believe what i've just witnessed... Never seen a show with that level of writing that the shield. This is what is very strong in this series, the coherence of the scenario. We start from an event in the pilot, we find it 7 seasons later late just before the finale, just stunning...

the scenario is perfect, meticulous, brilliant ! The episode is absoluty stunning from the beginning to the ending. Everything falls apart and it's so dramatic. I don't understand how people can prefer the wire over the shield, this show is so underated in IMDB.

I HATE THOSE WRITERS
26 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
After 3 seasons of wait all we wanted was finally a good romance/sex scene with Otis/Meave because their relation is amazing and is the heart of the show. But of course they had to destroy everything up because everyone teenagers on this town have to be tho fking honest ! It's not even cleaver or interesting, It's just so annoying that the writers dosn't lett otis and meave having the romance they deserve, that WE deserve.

They always find stupid excuses for not letting Otis and Meave being together, they dont even try to hide it anymore. Just stop and lett Meave and Otis being together !!!!!!

The Last of Us: Look for the Light (2023)
Season 1, Episode 9
6/10
Disappointing, brings nothing new
13 March 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The episode is not bad but let's be honest, it's just a copy of the game who is rushed and less good.

Lett me summarize you how adapted the spring chapter : Walk ans chat on the highway - giraffe - walk ans chat in the city - hospital - epilogue and that's it. The adaption is full rushed and 80 % of the game is missing. The show should have get 13 episodes because everything seems rushed, the series does not give us enough time to realize that our heroes have really been through "a lot of things"

There is nothing surprising in this episode, no risk taking, infected are still missing and more important we saw that this show brings nothing to the universe, it's just a a bad copy.

The Last of Us: Infected (2023)
Season 1, Episode 2
9/10
great and as effective as the first episode !
23 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Excellent episode. I loved the intro, a little appetizer of the eve of the apocalypse that we've never had in games. We can see how powerless humanity is in the face of cordyceps and this researcher who has already understood everything before the hour, it sends shivers down the spine If they could give us each intro of before the apocalypse that would be great.

Casting level I think we all agree that it's flawless Joël, Tess and Ellie are perfect as they are. Ramsey plays really well and I got used to his face, Anna Torv it's simple she is Tess she is absolutely perfect in her character and then Pedero bah it's Pedero what.

Well, on the other hand, the scriptwriters allowed themselves to make unlimited ammunition and heavy artillery for our heroes, so everything that resembles the gameplay style of the game is forgotten.

Loved how they changed the flow of Tess' sacrifice, we were expecting Fedra but instead we got the infected.

My only complaint is that it's too rushed! As our dear Genla said, the whole part of the buildings was skipped, they don't take their time at all with the start of the game, everything is rushed in the course of the gameplay to move on to the main events and that's not necessarily a bad thing, but I I always have this impression of rushed / sloppy and full of cult moments that we magnify :(

The Walking Dead: Rest in Peace (2022)
Season 11, Episode 24
3/10
Very Bad, like expected
22 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Well, well here is the ruined end of an emblematic series, I am disappointed but also glad that this mess IS over.

As I suspected, no important death, except Rosita, but hey, here's what, Rosita is a bit like Aaron, a character who could have been more interesting if only the director had allowed him to shine, so apart from killing a few lambdas who we don't give a damn about, we slap you the death of Rosita, an endearing protagonist but who has always remained in the shadow of the big names in the cast. Rosita since season 4 it will have been: Be beautiful and shut up, sleep with him, then him too, and in the end... Die!

Let's talk about Rosita, her Fall from the snack bar it's nonsense, I burst out laughing following this scene, the girl OK she has her child in front of her, she lets go then she falls, gets fully covered by zombies and then suddenly she shoots a bullet, 1 zombie head bursts and all the other zombies get back up (Kamel Ouali choreography), but WTF, then she gets back up and happens to be the reincarnation of Jet Li as the fall should have writhed her in pain, like breaking her back (with the weight of her child on top). This scene is hilarious...

Judith saved by Darryl when her transfusion lasted 20 seconds to blow up everything, and again I'm wide on the timer. It's a joke, seriously.

The ULTIMATE conversation between Maggie and Negan, conversation that happens towards the end when it should have taken place a long time ago, it's late filling the episode when they could have done the final flashback slower and sent style "go on, we'll wrap it up quickly and we'll talk about it more"...

... While the Flashback is precisely THE thing we were all waiting for, that in the grand finale on shows us all those who have died since the beginning, there the images pass too quickly, it does not create any emotion in the end it's so much too fast, and it would also have deserved to have more nostalgic and melancholic music, if only to give us chills by retracing the course of the series. I even have the impression that they forgot characters in their flashback, it went so quickly I didn't catch Dale, Merle and T-Dog for example

The only good thing about the episode, and which we all also expected, is this conversation between Darryl and Carole, with a more extroverted Darryl, who FINALLY sticks his fingers out of his ass to admit to Carole that he likes, followed by a Carole who answers the same. Damn, even if they are the best friends in the world of TWD... It was time to admit it, I admit that it was very well placed during the episode.

In the end I stay on my End and on my Hunger, it ends with a rotten cliffhanger, so it's clearly not an acceptable end to the series but more a "To be continued" which is relatively annoying, rather than ending in beauty and give us a promo for the sequel with Michonne and Rick by just doing a post-credits scene, no, as usual, the still incompetent director had to send it quickly, badly done, so that after 11 years of this series, both grandiose and crappy depending on the season, the circle is definitely not complete.

Very disappointed, an horrible final for me but it was quite expected. I wont watch the spin off because i think i got better things to do...

We Own This City: Part Two (2022)
Season 1, Episode 2
8/10
Correct episode
3 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
We Own This City Season 1 Episode 2 explores the origins of the system the show is telling us about. The police brutality, corruption, the system of bringing in more arrests, and where all of this narrows down to. Wayne's story explains to us how Baltimore Police Department has become the corrupt place it is.

On top of that, his training officer was happy that Jenkins was learning. This same cycle continues with Jenkins training a new officer about the ways he learned from his training officer. For years, the Baltimore system has built itself upon these ways.

While Jenkins' story told us about the origins of this system, in the same way, Nicole Steele started realizing how this system works as she chased Officer Hersl's story. The same goes for McDougall's team, who had tapped in G-Money as one of their leads while investigating Antonio Shropshire. The coming episode may see McDougall's team bringing in G-Money while Steele goes in deep to investigate Hersl.

Better Call Saul: Hit and Run (2022)
Season 6, Episode 4
9/10
The most funniest episode
3 May 2022
After last week's explosive and intense episode, "Hit and Run" seems like an installment designed for us to catch our breath. Like Gus and Mike, we're mostly just waiting on Lalo to rear his head.

Jimmy continues his effort to soil Howard Hamlin's reputation, that is so funny to watch

I like that the episode gives us time to see a piece of Howard's session, showing us that his sunny demeanor is hiding issues at home. It once again reminds us that though Howard may be an annoying guy and a superficial buffoon, he's not entirely deserving of the treatment he's receiving. Kim refuses to acknowledge that he's behaving wickedly, but it's more apparent to the viewer.

The Shield (2002–2008)
10/10
THE SHIELD IS THE BEST SHOW EVER MADE, VERY UNDERATED
2 May 2022
Well i think we have to talk the kheys.......

Ok so The shield is simply the best series in history (a shouya better than BB yes).

This series is a real experience that you have to live in your life, so if it's not done yet you absolutely have to watch the shield, it's a pure masterpiece worthy of the best series of all time

This series that is the shield was the answer to my search for a series surpassing breaking bad, who would have thought that I had to look back 20 years to find this masterpiece

It's a pure masterpiece that you only see once and shame on you for not having seen it knowing that it is celebrating its 20th anniversary

Many characters are out of the ordinary (well helped by the all brilliant actors) and all of them are really excellent. You get so attached to the 4 main heroes it's crazy.

The episodes and seasons are of a simply bluffing coherence giving the scenario a prodigious richness. The dialogues are very well written which gives the series a rendering more real than life. We alternate subtly between the dramatic and the comic. It's raw, it's violent, it's funny but above all how good it is!

All seasons are equal and seasons 5 and 7 are also masterpieces (same level as BB season 5 or GOT season 4).

The writing is divine, the characters captivating, in turn we can adore them then hate them, each having their virtue and their vice taken to the extreme. Even more for the hero / anti-hero Vic Mackey: a loving father on a daily basis (a wife and children he truly loves, despite relationships that inevitably wither away over time) but a real ruthless brute in his work (often "justified", never appreciated by his superiors).

What makes the series so special and fun to watch is that not all cops are good cops. They are not simple crooks looking for corruption all the time, on the contrary, these crooked cops have an exacerbated humanity that hooks the viewer to his television and gives him this feeling of lack when an episode ends. In a subtle way, we penetrate quite easily into the heads of the characters to discover them both with their strengths and their weaknesses, and during the episodes each character reveals himself a little more to us.

Then the screenwriters did a great job of meticulously written writing while reserving exciting stories for us with stunning twists that will take your breath away over the 7 seasons simply the series does not forget its batch of images at the same time Percussive and Shocking in a very realistic way in the red light districts of Los Angeles reserved for an informed public while reserving its share of humor for the Replicas which make Conclusion.

DO YOU NEVER WANT TO BE BORED OF A SERIES?, THE SHIELD IS YOUR FRIEND

The production work "handheld camera is impeccable and immerses us perfectly in the heart of the action. We are an integral part of the Strike Team (name of the team of the 4 main heroes who will often be turned upside down by its members than by its situations) and stress becomes our daily lot. Over the seasons, the tension rises more and more to reach its climax in a final episode which brings the series to a wonderful close.

I've watched series, a hell of a lot even and The Shield is for me, and by far, the best I've ever watched. The writing itself is excellent, every detail, every action is never random. What I'm trying to express here is that the first episode will affect the whole series, and it's like that for all episodes! In addition, the series provides us with characters with real personalities and some even, thanks to the actors who play them, are endowed with a very big charisma. And to add a layer, the music is always well chosen and will serve perfectly to make you feel the emotion not sought by the directors.

IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A SERIES AS POWERFUL AND CAPTIVATING AS BREAKING BAD, THE SHIELD IS YOUR FRIEND

To sum up, the shield is first of all a well-planted universe, well-drawn characters, hard-hitting dialogues, well-constructed plots and twists that are often well seen. The staging will evolve in the right direction over the years, at first hyper-nervous and abusing the handheld camera, with a cut-out that was too bumpy before becoming more readable, not hesitating to let the shots last

will also add that The shield has the best ending that a series can dream of, with each character seeing their storyline finished, in a very nihilistic way, as usual with Ryan & Kurt Sutter, another screenwriter of the series. A moving end rich in emotions to which you will not remain unscathed so well it is orchestrated.

A page has been turned with the end of "The shield" and I hope one day to be able to find such quality and such aggressiveness in a television project. In short, The Shield is a cult, violent and uncompromising series that surpasses its generation.

You can watch the series on Mycanal in HD (for $7) with additional comments on the seasons you plan to watch (watch out for spoilers) and believe me the price is worth it for the shield.

Mindhunter (2017–2019)

Good show but sometimes it's very boring 😴

I finished the series and I must say that I am mixed.

Yes, the production is impeccable and worthy of a film.

But, the editing and cutting of the plot serve the whole.

There is no real main plot or major issue, something that follows from season to season. So yes there may be a season 3 in several years but I don't see the approach differing. Or else, a season focused on the profession of team investigator, from start to finish.

Mayans M.C.: Self Portrait in Blue Bathroom (2022)
Season 4, Episode 3
7/10
Good episode
1 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Actions have consequences, and there's no other show on TV that shows it better than Mayans MC.

Mayans MC Season 4 Episode 3 was another hour that highlighted the struggles as these characters react to all the big changes in their lives.

Granted, Angel pulled the trigger, but whatever happened in the desert will reflect back on EZ as the leader.

The events leading up to the shooting were disturbing and, quite frankly, Angel reacted the only way he could at the time.

My theory is that Angel, EZ and Manny will build a cover to explain Randall's death.

If you watch Mayans MC online, you know that Manny and EZ didn't get off to the best start, but they worked to be more cordial towards each other.

The trio will likely find a way to push death under the rug.

EZ was visibly upset with his brother, but it's possible that EZ didn't understand the true extent of what was going on.

EZ promoted to vice president came out of left field, but having more power could ruffle some feathers.

Bishop has mostly kept the people below him loyal to the cause, but he's struggled to keep it together lately.

It'll be exciting to see this all shake up because, let's face it, there's so much at stake that it's hard not to get invested in what these characters become.

Ozark: A Hard Way to Go (2022)
Season 4, Episode 14

Trash season final what a joke
1 May 2022
What a big joke the season 4 is, I don't have the words..

Already that Part I was not crazy, but then this part 2 damn it.. So much useless intrigue, so much stupid decision on the part of characters supposed to be intelligent. I save 2 good episodes (8 and 11).

Then the final episode which is really lame and absolutely does not end the series, but just the end of the season.

The season turns in circles, always the same manipulations, the same gears. In the end we get bored and the tension is quite weak.

No villain, no danger, everything is soft in the end.

There remains the visual quality and the great acting performances, but a botched end to the series for me.

In short, what a disappointment. Ozark was truly one of Netflix's best series and it sadly follows the path of great series that end up with a bogus concluding season.

In short, in ranking from the best season to the worst: S3 > S1 > S2 > S4.

AMAZING AND INTENSE EPISODE
21 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Seen Episode 1 and it was a beautifully directed, written, and acted hour that underscored just how far these characters are willing to go to save each other.

The entire hour was intense, with people killed left, right and center and the desire of the people inside the building to survive was admirable.

It was truly a life or death scenario, but it was obvious that EZ and company were outnumbered.

EZ offering his life to save Angel, Nails, Bishop and the others brought out all of EZ's best traits it was truly admirable He wanted the bloodshed to end with him but in this unforgiving world of eye for an eye, why would Canche accept such a deal lol

Nah but really excellent recovery, the episode was intense and brilliant no downtime I can tell you that we had our expectations after the 3x10 cliffhanger, the atmosphere and the atmosphere of the episode was terrifying and quite depressed I really love the survival side of the madness of men nah really breathtaking episode.
