The Dark Knight (2008)
Incredible film
Impeccable acting and casting especially with Heath Ledger's iconic and most know Joker to date. Beautiful crafted villain and plot. And two-face has a really well designed backstory but not told well the first time you watch the film. And like every good movie you have to watch it a few times to understand. Especially Joker's plan and personality. The relationship between each Batman and Joker is different but in my opinion I believe this is the best filmed. The sonar system used looks a bit sketchy, but sounds real ish. The tumbler is used a lot more in this film and is allowed to show what it can do in the field, and the bike reveal is really well done.
Pokémon: Detective Pikachu (2019)
Good movie
Plot was close to the game. Acting was iffy but is only better with Ryan Renolds as pikachu. Only good if you like Pokémon and detective stories. CGI is amazing in this film with multiple Pokémon species appearing at the same time with the same level of detail. A small amount of moments that made me laugh. Well done scene with mr. Mime. Detective pikachu is played as a dirty kind of cop who only cares about coffee and solving the crime/case. Multiple distractions throughout the movie but can be overlooked. A lot of recognizable Pokémon, and no legendary Pokémon. The purple vape juice is a weird concept too it's like a steroid/vape/smelling salt/drugs thing.
Dragon Day (2013)
Upgraded 9/11
Horrible pacing, and a dumb theme kinda realistic but not really. More of an upscale 9/11 but played worse. Acting was terrible and so was a cgi. Characters poorly casted, concept of the film doesn't seem real. Poorly done scrip. Only a few good characters. The hacking idea is so dumb, the US would have a lot more in place even in 2013. Also, why does China bomb the US didn't people hear about 9/11? The whole China debt this is sooooo dumb, what about taxes? The main character being a CIA agent is a bit too easy to explain how he got the ideas and experience to do the work that he does throughout the film.
