I had the chance to re-watch this again a decade later and I have to say that this still holds up in all aspects; it was as good, if not better, than I remember.

The action scenes are just as outstanding and looking back, this is so much better and it puts all the high budget CGI action scenes we see today to shame. I don't feel any emotion when watching today's action scene, despite all the fantastical design, I still feel a sense of detachment because I know this can't be real.

This movie have so much style. I hope Chow Yun Fat and John Woo makes a comeback and do another movie similar to this, bringing along their experience and wisdom. I hope to live to see that day.

A fun adventure movie with a dash of comedy. There are plenty of twists and turns that keep the movie ticking along but the run time was a tad short.

The chemistry between the four leads are amazing and the rest of the cast was also good. There are some interesting characters in the story but I wish they flesh them out a bit more.

This movie is action packed almost from the start to the very end. The action scenes are clean, realistic and straightforward with an 80's sensibility.

All in all, this film is not to be taken too serious. If you want to take a little escape from reality, this film is something fun to watch.

Let's be honest, these people that give this film a 10 stars are no critical thinkers and not very educated, they have been brainwash by their own government. The truth is China have been making film and tv series fabricating their own history for decades and they have been very popular, you can still see a lot of them on tv, Chinese killing off Japanese, killing off Western folks, their story, acting and directing are appalling but they get high praise, why? Because it makes the Chinese feel proud of themselves in their own make believe world. Sadly, many of them can't think for themselves and believe what they see is true without doing their own homework, can't blame them, just feel sad for them.

Really great film! High rewatch potential with amazing acting performance and script. This film will keep you on the edge of your seat!

One of the more influential movie ever! Timeless classic! It will be enjoy by many generations to come.
