It's predictable, not very well acted, full of plot holes and just incredibly boring. Long shots of nothing really important. Unrealistic safe cracking (fast and simple). Army of the Dead was quite bad, but this prequal is bad ánd boring. The only good thing is the shots inside vaults. Those look nice, but the rest of the movie... Just skip it.

I want to follow all episodes, but this one was hard to watch. The constant singing and dancing was annoying and at times just plain bad. Just skip to the last minute to hear that and save yourself the rest of the hour.

The best thing of this movie are the bloopers at the end.

Henry van Loon usually is very funny. Also the setting, hipster coffeebar in a oost apocalyptic world, sounds promising, but this is just really, really bad. It's typical Dutch: rude, lots of swearing, trying to shock... We watched 2,5 episodes and at the 100th "godverdomme" we turned it off. Missed opportunity.

I love the real Eurovision. It's cheesy, it's fun and you never know what to expect. This movie perfectly represents it. All acts could have actually performed at a real Eurovision, which is very well done. The songs are great. Jaja Ding Dong is stuck in my head since I've heard it (help me!)

The storyline of this movie is weird and cute, sometimes a bit predictable, but that's ok. The jokes are great. My husband and I laughed out loud several times, which doesn't happen a lot at movies. Best joke of the movie (we rewinded it and watched it again) is a slamming door.

Overall, it's just a great movie. The songs, the costumes, the jokes, the acting, the cameos and the beautiful shots of Iceland. I didn't expect it, but I've added it to my list of favourite movies and I'm even bugging other people they should give it a try. So, if you like Eurovision, give it a try. You will not regret it.
