Hou lai de wo men (2018)
Very realistic.
Two strangers meet on a train and form a bond that evolves over the years. After a separation, they reconnect and reflect on their love for each other.
This film is one of the most despairing films i've ever watched. Its very realistic and i feel that a lot of people can relate to it, How being in a relationship can be very burdensome and that most of the time youre first love will end at some point in youre life. That sometimes life gets on the way and you have no chance but to grow up trough separation. This film definitely makes you reflect on the relationships with the people around you and the regret of what happend in the past. The Cinematography is very beautiful and the actors did an remarkable job! The ending has a very important message " dont wait until its to late to say sorry and i love you"
So you should definitely watch this its a very beautiful and emotional story
also watch the end credits its very emtotional but made this film so much more meaningful.
Kaze no denwa (2020)
Very melancholy.
Voices in the Wind ( Kaze no Denwa ) is a 2020 Japanese film about a fictional high school student who lost her family in the Tohoku tsunami and returns to her hometown to visit the wind phone years later.
Abseloutely devastating, definitely knowing that this movie is based on events that happend in real life. Troughout the movie i felt so much compassion for Haru it saddens me that there are actually people who went trough what Haru had gone trough. This film is slow but a beautiful making. All the characters you will meet troughout this film all have such melancholic stories but i found this beautfiul how each and one of our lifes are so different from each other. The actress Serena Motola suited her character Haru very well! The ending was very beauteous it was like Haru finally let go of her family and accepted that her family was gone even beside that she still choice to continue living.
The wind phone stands on a hill in Namiita, Otsuchi, Iwate Prefecture. Since the 2011 earthquake and tsunamis more than 30,000 people have come to speak their hearts to those wo are no longer here.
Ke zai ni xin di de ming zi (2020)
Such a beautiful film.
Your name engraved herein,
First of all this film was absolutely beautiful and mesmerizing the cinematography is very engaging and appealing. It's a very raw and saddening story but very realistic in many ways. It touches a very sensetive subject which is homophobia and how it was seen as an illness back in the older years. Even though the ending was melancholy it was very realistic and beautiful. The actors did an breathtaking job at acting out as there roles and the chemistry between the two main characters is very strong as well!
I definetly recommand this film.
Siworae (2000)
Heatwarming but sad love story.
A man and a woman realize they are separated by two years of time when they exchange letters from diffrent years in a mailbox.
Il mare has such an unique plot which it very intresting to watch, i honestly had no idea how this movie would end cause it felt like a hopeless love story where is wasn't meant to be, but to my suprising i was definetly satisfied with the ending! The actors barely had any screentime troughout the movie but you could defnitely feel the chemisty and love between the two characters. Overall it was a beautiful movie and very aesthically pleasing to watch one thing i loved as well in the movie were the qoutes! Do i recommand it , yes you should definitely check it out.
