Uncut Gems (2019)
Stylistic Movie with Excellent Building of Tension
People will complain about anything. I normally can't stand Adam Sandler but this movie was awesome. Saw it in the theatre and the tension build up was great. Loved the ending too. Great movie.
Joker (2019)
Amazing Movie
It definitely bites off other classics but even with that, it's amazing in its own right. So intense and amazing acting. One of the best films ever no doubt.
The Butterfly Effect (2004)
I Agree That Ashton Kutcher is Annoying but...
The movie makes up for it. Excellent movie about the affect of decisions in life and how what seems like the tinyest choice can have far-reaching circumstances.
Level 3 (2020)
Excellent Film That Plays Like a Documentary
Loved the style here. It feels like you're able to sit in on real therapy sessions where the psychiatrist is one hundred percent reliant on self-accountability with no excuses or exceptions. I agree with this style of therapy. Many psychs tip toe around and coddle their patients which makes the them feel like they can do no wrong. I've seen it and it is of zero help.
Great character study and if you are looking for a cinematic "entertaining" film to watch, you will be disappointed. Only for the intellectual.
Entrance (2012)
One of My Favorite 'Found Footage' Movies
This is a great 'found footage' style movie but without explaining the camera man. Love so much that it makes you feel like you're the person watching the victim.
That's what people don't understand about the appeal of found footage movies... It's a POV viewpoint so it's a totally different style than cinematic films where you're observing as a viewer. Found footage puts you in the room. Very underrated style of film. People who watch these style of movies expecting a cinematic feel are dumb. See it for what it is and go watch your coming book movies with the rest of the children.
Escape Artist (2017)
Inspirational
This movie shows what can happen when you stand up for the truth and your point of view -- the good and the bad results. You become ostracized and demonized for pointing out what's wrong with things because no one wants to hear it. They'd rather stay deluded and comfortable in their oppression. This is why evil dominates society.
Kudos to making a movie with the guts to tell the truth.
Also, just because you don't like a movie, doesn't mean everyone else who did like it is 'fake.' Lol at the ignorance of a statement like that.
Amanda Knox (2016)
Making the Case for a Murderer
She's so obviously guilty and this 'documentary' is trying to convince you otherwise. This girl has nerve trying to be in the public eye and convince everyone to ignore the obvious. Documentaries are supposed to be objective.
Community (2009)
Got Really Immature
The first couple of seasons were great and very cleverly written but it got so silly and immature over time. Felt like a kid-oriented show. Way too over the top.
Better Call Saul (2015)
Amazing Show
I was pretty bored with the first few seasons but as it builds up, it's getting great! Just like Breaking Bad. Excellent everything all the way around.
Maid (2021)
Make a Plan Already!
This is an insult to single moms. She had absolutely no plan and just decides to take her child out of a (somewhat) stable home with less than $20 in her pocket. Completely selfish and naive.
Also, Andie McDowell's performance is the WORST and SOOO CRINGE I had to start fast-forwarding her scenes. People who are saying she deserves an award for this have the absolute worst taste and wouldn't know good acting if it grabbed them by the face.
Other than that, the show was pretty good.
