Constellation (2024)
Nonsensical nonsense
First of all, the lead character has such massive cheek implants that it's incredibly distracting. The story line and character development is completely illogical. The, what, 7 or 8 year old daughter offering relationship advice to her father is just dumb.
Tragedy happens and everyone hops on a jet from somewhere never established and flies to another place that's never established. The story has zero foundation and zero plot. What are you people doing? Perhaps studios should stop hiring DEI writers, actors, staff etc and just go back to being creative. My dog's farts are more interesting than this crap.
The Last Thing He Told Me (2023)
The slowest storyline ever.
Seven painful episodes of Jennifer Garner and her pursed lips. That's all you can see. The storyline is lame, but all I could focus on was why Garner held her mouth in the completely strange, semi-open, pursed expression. (Akin to Janine Pirro on Fox) Why? Do you not want to be human? Anyways... the story evolves so incredibly slowly that I found myself fast forwarding. So many scenes of her driving (parted and pursed lips ) talking to Kerry Washington but rarely in the same room. Can't help to wonder if there were issues between the two. If not, the producers failed and the actors failed in projecting authenticity.
Succession: America Decides (2023)
Fox News' Coverage From the Left's Perspective
This episode viewed as if they took the 2020 election, threw all the malfeasance into a blender and regurgitated it to fit the Democrat's narrative. The series has been fantastic, albeit, the OBVIOUS political leanings required be Hollywood. This episode was just... cheap. The writers needed to make some small-p***$ exec happy before the show's finale. Shiv telling Tom she was pregnant at a very illogical moment didn't ring true to her cold and measured character. Additionally , she has never interacted with Greg, but suddenly she has the need to? It all just felt like they were trying to wrap up story lines.
Outlast (2023)
Why televise the worst parts of humanity
Complete garbage. The ex-crackhead and Jill are evil. Pure trash and disgusting people. The production is illogical. Supposedly these people are dropped off with only the clothes on their backs but suddenly they have fishing nets, sleeping bags and buoys? Why is no one really that dirty? The crackhead even seems to be wearing mascara and lip color.
There are obviously camera crews following the teams all over the place and no one noticed them when the one a**hole stole another team's sleeping bags? They filmed the thief hiding behind a tree from just feet away and the people searching for him didn't notice the camera crew??
Dear men, never ever date women like Jill or the Ex-crackhead.
Raymond & Ray (2022)
We lasted maybe 7 minutes.
I can't help wondering why these 2 actors allowed this movie to be released or not demanded script rewrites or scenes reshot. Character development should be nuanced, not shoved down the audience's throat in the first 3 minutes. McGregor and Hawke have zero believable connection. Their early interactions are robotic. Nothing seems genuine as to how brothers would react or converse with each other in a strained relationship or not. The script seems to rush the family's backstory so quickly and it makes zero sense. The acting is surprisingly bad. You can't help but wonder what was going on behind the scenes while this film was being shot. It's awful. Just awful.
I Am Jazz (2015)
Sexual Child Exploitation
This is exploitation, pure and simple. Jazz's parents should have had their son seek ongoing therapy prior to drugs and surgery. SURGERY! They have castrated their son and guaranteed that he will NEVER have a normal sex life or children. This show's promotion of gender dysphoria is disgusting.
As for the content, poor Jazz plays to the camera and the "storylines" are contrived and forced.
Better Call Saul: Nippy (2022)
Beware the FAKE Spoilers and Trolls!
99% of spoilers are fake!! Kim is not eaten by Huell! None of the other crap other reviewers claim happens at all. Just watch and absorb. Well played, Trolls, well played. Can we all be adults now?
Better Call Saul: Rock and Hard Place (2022)
Spectacular Episode
This season is so well written and filmed. A lost art in this day and age. We will miss BCS after the season ends. The characters are as complex as the storyline. The tie ins to Breaking Bad are so well done and not condescending to the viewer as so many shows tend to do.
Formula 1: Drive to Survive (2019)
Pushing the narrrative
Poor, poor Lewis Hamilton, he was robbed of his title. He was picked last for his 3rd grade soccer team simply because all 3rd graders are racist. I feel horrible for him being one of 20, yes, TWENTY F1 drivers in THE WORLD.
But I digress... Netflix obviously has to push their narrative with completely out of context reactions, interviews and reactions. Seasons 1 and 2 were exceptional. 3 was clearly not up to par and 4 complete crap. The visuals of the races are great at times when they're not cherry picked.
Ozark (2017)
It's jumped the shark
The blue filter is overkill. Are we supposed to buy in that the characters never turn on lights or continually drag corpses around unnoticed? The teenagers are now experts in money laundering and managing off-shore accounts? Season 3 was dumb but season 4 is a joke.
The Kings of Napa (2022)
Let's be real here...
Complete SJW, virtue signaling bs COMPLETELY based in political narrative. Trust me, the true Napa Valley wineries are rolling their eyes. Not every show needs to be based on fake POC storylines. It's tired. Move on.
1883 (2021)
Decent but flawed.
So... in 1883 sex outside or marriage is acceptable? I think not. Faith Hill's frizzy hair is a distraction. They did have hair brushes back then. There is so much talk about crossing a treacherous river... which is actually an extremely calm creek.
Man in the Arena (2021)
I may be the only unbiased reviewer.
I enjoyed this for what it is. I'm not a football fan, but I appreciate any individual who strives to meet challenges and be at the top of their game. Successful people are successful for a reason and insight into that is always interesting. Being in the public eye has its unique challenges and I have gained respect for Brady on how he balances his profession, his family and his health. As a fan of alternative medicine, I really enjoyed the dive into his "health guru " and injury recovery. Good stuff.
