Courage the Cowardly Dog (1999–2002)

Rod Serling meets Tex Avery!
29 September 2015
The plot; an elderly farm couple lives in the middle of Nowhere where spooky things happens. It's up to Courage to save the day! I started watching this with my kids. Now they are grown, I still love it! Now I watch it with my granddaughter.

Apparently John Dillworth must have grown up on the Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits because the stories remind me somewhat of those classics. Add the wild takes of the king of cartoons Tex Avery and BINGO! A funny cartoon that can be enjoyed by young and old. But yet at the same time could be a safe scare for little kids.

Where Scooby-Doo started out good but got watered down over the years, Courage didn't seem get dummied down. Like the Twilight Zone it could be scary, make you laugh, or even make you cry a little.

If you are 4, 40, or 80 you can enjoy this show because it is entertaining for all ages!

The Prophecy: Uprising (2005 Video)

No Walken, but there's Light! (sorry about the pun!)
23 July 2013
Like everyone, I couldn't imagine this series without Christopher Walken. I've never been a fan of Kari Wurher, and the only thing that I knew about Sean Pertwee that he is Jon's son.

So I got it on a two disc set of all of the Phophecies, so what the heck and SURPIRSE! It was good.

Sean Pertwee was great as the police officer who is trying to make up for a terrible deed that he did as a child. Even Kari Wurher was good in this as the troubled person who suddenly had the weight of the world on her shoulders, but it was John Light who really sold me on this. From the start you could see that there was something not right about him. He was cool, yet creepy at the same time. And some of the looks that he gave really sent chills up and down my spine. Him and Sean played well off of each other. Plus, it was nice to see Doug Bradley playing something else besides Pinhead.

This movie reminded me a little of The Omen, But for me it is a very deep movie touching base on the idea that it's hard to see true good and evil anymore and how this time Satan has a war in hell because of this.

Over all the movie is good, and I don't mean to go on about him but John Light really makes it worth watching. I think this one stands well on it's own without Christopher Walkin. This is the kind of horror movie that I like where it's not about body counts, but the story and characters is what keeps you interested.

It had George Carlin's seal of approval
23 June 2013
First of all I want to start out by saying I am not left or right. I am a live and let live kind of guy. Now that being said I found this news show informative and at times entertaining. I generally don't get into news shows but this one got my attention for some reason.

George Carlin was on it and said this was the best news show on TV. I can't say that but it was very good in my opinion.

But there was more than the hot topics of the day. Keith help raise money for free clinics, and helped a family who's house burned down while the fire department watch it because they forgot to pay the annual fee for fire protection. And of course "The Worst Person" segment.

Keith really shook things up here raising the ire of Bill O'Riely, Glenn Beck and others. I respect someone who isn't afraid to call out someone and point out the nonsense they trawl out and call it news. I can't help but to think that's why he was suddenly fired from MSNBC. He really rocked the boat. Why else would you cancel your top rated show? Current TV is another story.

Is Keith a nice guy or a total jerk? I don't know but I have to respect him for putting it on the line and not be afraid to call it like you see it and let the chips fall will they may.

House M.D. (2004–2012)
9/10
Now that it's over.......
23 June 2013
I first saw this show ironically the day before I went in for eye surgery. And I fell in love with it right away.

Dr. House is a brilliant but somewhat crabby doctor heading up a team that specializes in unusual illnesses. And whenever he gets aggravated he pops a Viacoden or two.

The cast is great, and Hugh Laurie really steals the show. I discovered that if you mix British humor with an American accent you have sarcasm.

The first two seasons were the best. But I can't help but think this show bowed to politically correctness. Some people had a problem with House's pill popping. Never mind the man is in pain every day because of his leg. I know people with crippling arthritis who eat pain killers like candy. This could explain season three's subplot with Dective Tritter's vendetta against House. Nothing against David Morse, but the writers should not only researched some law books here, but they almost were torturing House by all by cutting him off of his pain killers. Sure over the years they expressed concern about House becoming addicted, but here was a missed opportunity to discuss how anyone can become an addict to prescription pain killers.

After that, they toned down House's pill popping but the medicine was becoming more of a sub-plot. Sure I understand they might want take a break from the usual formula from time to time but things were getting a little ridiculous. Like when House was hiring a new team and treated it like a game show. As brilliant as House is I can't imagine any hospital letting him get away with some of the stuff that he did like openly bringing hookers into the hospital. The show was sold on it's realism, really guys! Come on! I also felt they should have left the House and Cuddy relationship alone. I felt they were "jumping the shark" here because the ratings were slipping at this point. USA Today called it "House in need of repair." The final season you can clearly see they were playing out the strings. The magic was clearly gone and is seems they knew this was going to be the last season, so why bother. So why did they bother? The final episode of season seven would have been a better series finale.

Over all I still love this show and it had a good run. No, I don't want to see a House reunion movie or have Hugh Laurie showing up somewhere else as Dr. House.

It was good, but it's good that it was.

Top Gear (2002–2022)

A gear head's guilty pleasure, to share with the family!
23 June 2013
Fun! Fun! Fun! Three words to describe this show! Of course coming from the UK it does have a certain British charm about it.

Jeremy, James and Richard not only test cars from all over the world but they embark on a series of 'challenges'. And they have the segment called "A star in a Reasonably Priced car" which is loads of fun. And let's not forget......THE STIG! These guys have way too much fun, and it rubs off on the audience. Unlike the abomination "Top Gear USA" this show is absolute magic for us gear heads but even if you are not into cars it is very fun and entertaining for the whole family.

If you like to laugh, I highly recommend this!

Top Gear USA (2008–2016)
Swing!....and a miss!
23 June 2013
I got into Top Gear UK when my cable provider had BBC America. And being a car guy since birth I really got into it. My wife and kids enjoy it too. It's just plain fun! Thanks to them my wife wants a Jaguar now instead of a Camaro! So when I heard about Top Gear USA I gave it a chance. I tried, I mean I really tried to like this one but I couldn't. Sure as one would expect it is a clone of the British Top Gear. But the hosts didn't gel like Jeremy, Richard and James do. The jokes seem scripted and fell flat. And I'm sure they are nice guys in real life but I found them quite boring. I think the tried too hard.

When I heard it was canceled I felt it was a mercy killing. It is painful to watch. Maybe if tried again with better people and build on what Top Gear UK started and not imitate it, the show might work, but I doubt it. The British Top Gear is one of a kind!

Luther (2010–2019)
10/10
American TV should take notice
23 June 2013
I remember when British television was laughable, and not in a good way. I loved Dr. Who, and Monty Python Beyond that forget it. I saw them on my local PBS station. Now, thank goodness for BBC America! There is some good stuff here! Oh, sorry! I'm rambling again! LUTHER! Great show! John Luther is a brilliant detective with a lot of inner demons. He has a boss who tries to keep him grounded but usually gives in to his unorthodox approach to his methods and he gets the job done. Yea, yea we seen that before. But the actors really sell me on this. There is something about Idris Elba that I really like. In fact I had no idea that was him in 'The Reaping' (maybe because of the American accent) and I liked him in that too. He has an honesty about him that like. On the flip side Ruth Wilson is fantastic as Alice Morgan, the super intelligent psychotic unofficial partner of Luther's.

The show itself is really entertaining and you really get into it. Unlike many of the cop shows that I grew up with it's not filled with car chases, fist fights, or gun battles. It really is deep.

Some of the classic American shows like "All In the Family", "Three's Company", just to name a few were based on British television shows and did well in their own right. However I hope nobody touches this show and Americanize it. I can only imagine what they would do to it. Look at "Top Gear USA"! If you live in the states and have access to this show I recommend that you give it a try and see what a television show should be.

Night Heat (1985–1989)
9/10
I forgot about this show, silly me!
23 June 2013
Night Heat is a police drama, but as the title suggests it takes place at night. Kevin is a veteran police detective and Frank is the good looking tough guy, but he's a softy at heart. Tommy is a reporter for "The Eagle" who writes about these super cops.

The show follows a formula, at the beginning we here a voice over from Tommy describing what just happened with a social comment, Frank and Kevin look for clues, they stop at Nichole's, and they usually solve the crime. Standard formula right? What sells me are the characters. All of them are likable, and they look real, not your typical Hollywood beautiful tough cops. The all were human like Tommy is a recovering alcoholic and drinks milk at the bar. Nichole is the widow of Kevin's former partner who was killed in front of Kevin and they formed a relationship. The supporting cast are great too. Lt. Hogan is the crusty veteran who seen it all, and Colby is the tough street smart guy and is paired with Freddy who is the sensitive guy.

I had no idea this was filmed in Canada for the longest time, (not that it makes any difference) but maybe that's why this show was so good. It was edgy, gritty, and a little raw for the time. Don't forget this was the 80s and this was a time when American television was really becoming sanitized.

So, at this point it's been a while since I have seen them, but I am going to hunt them down. Believe me this show is so good I might go out and buy me a blue K-Car!

The Ward (2010)
7/10
Not Carpenter's Best, but not his worst either
21 June 2013
The plot is in 1966 a young girl sets fire to a farm house and she is sent to 'The Ward'. She finds out there is more in the ward than other patients.

The cast is great. They all really get into their characters and over all it is a fun movie to watch.

Okay, now I have to complain just a little bit. Maybe because I didn't see it on the big screen but the scares are a little flat. There are some classic Carpenter "BOO!" moments, but the the rest are somewhat predictable.

Second, this didn't feel like a John Carpenter movie. It wasn't in Panavision for one thing, and John did not do the score. It's a good score but for me part of the magic of a John Carpenter movie is the unique John Carpenter score. His son Cody should have done it and I think it would have had the Carpenter feel that wasn't there.

To sum it up, this movie is entertaining enough and I have watched it many times and I do enjoy it.

For the record I think John's worst movie is 'Memoires of an Invisable Man'.

They Live (1988)

Either you get it, or you don't
12 June 2013
This came to my theater when I was a theater manager back in the 80's. Of course being a John Carpenter movie I had to see it right after I put it together.

Roddy Piper is a drifter coming to California looking for work. He lands a job on a construction sight and stays at an encampment full of other homeless people. Be befriends Frank and he discovers the people in the church across the street are hiding something.

First of all, I struggled through the 80's so I got this right away. The rich were were getting richer and tho poor were getting poorer. And the idea of being manipulated by unseen forces seemed plausible. There were many angry people out there and maybe they saw this movie as someone standing up and saying WAKE UP! YOU'RE GETTING SCREWED OVER BIG TIME! I read a review in Box Office Magizine and they commented that the film was a mess and John Carpenter forgot everything he knew about directing. Apparently, they didn't get it. But if you were living hand to mouth like I was at that time you got it right away. I can forgive the movie's shortcomings because the story was that powerful for me. And if you were to watch it today for the first time I think that you would find out the more things change the more they stay the same.

Masters of Horror: Pro-Life (2006)
Season 2, Episode 5
9/10
Only 'Masters' would touch this!
11 June 2013
Okay, okay! I can clearly see from the other reviewers this one is a mixed bag. Either love it it or hate it, well that's fine. That's okay because it deals with a touchy subject.

Set aside the politics for a moment, the movie is about a teenage girl who wants an abortion because she feels the baby is evil. But her father wants to protect the baby at all costs.

Ron Perlman is excellent as usual playing the tragic hero who knows it's there is going to be bloodshed. He knows it's going to get ugly and he's not happy about it, but he feels it has to be done. Catlin Wachs is great playing the victim. Bill Dow and the rest of the cast is great too.

I feel the both sides of the issue is being served. But it's Ron Perlman's character that really sells me on this. He is a father who loves his kids and do whatever it takes to protect them. I feel if you love this movie or hate this movie you can't hate Ron.

John Carpenter has never been above pushing people's buttons, just look at 'They Live'. He said of this "it's just a monster movie", and Cody Carpenter's score captures the mood.

I'm not trying to mock other people when I say this one is not for someone with a closed mind. If you feel strongly one way or the other about abortion, I suggest you avoid this one. I myself enjoyed this not because I am pro-life or pro choice. I enjoyed it because all of the characters most notably Ron and Catlin because they were real people.

A horror fan's dream documentary
10 June 2013
An excellent documentary about American horror movies from Thomas Edison's 'Frankenstien' to 'The Mist'. It talks about the evolution of horror movies and the times they were made. But it it is interesting how these movies reflected their era. From the aftermath of World War I all the way to 9/11.

I never figured Lance Hendrickson would be a good narrator, but he was. And I like all the film historian's insight. What's really cool is the interviews of the 'Masters of Horror', Mick Garris, John Carpenter, Larry Cohen, Joe Dante, etc... and how they all loved horror films as kids. I loved it when George Remero talks about 'The Thing', and his own 'Night of the Living Dead'. You find out horror directors are not sick, demented people. They simply make these movies because they enjoy them and the have a true passion for good horror movies. And they are not above shaking things up a bit as well.

You find out true horror movies aren't always madmen killing sexually active teenagers in strange ways, but how true horror is all around us every day and these movies reflect that. It also shows horror films will never die. Like it or not they will always be with us.

Creepy, dark, and over the top
9 June 2013
I bought this blindly at the video store. What the heck? It is about a town celebrating it's anniversary but it has a of course it has a secret. A dam was built and the town became prosperous. But what was under the water is the old town and come to find out a secret was buried under the water and was coming back for revenge.

This film violated many rules like violence toward children. But for me it was creepy and interesting. I liked Michael McKell, Charlotte Salt and the rest of characters in this movie because the looked and acted real, with the exception of the blonde girl who I thought that she really over acted when she was crying over her late boyfriend. However Patrick Gordon really creeps me out.

I can see how and why this movie doesn't suit everybody. It is graphic, and there some scenes that may offend people, but for me this is a good, but not great horror movie. I'll let people make up their own mind on this and wouldn't blindly recommend to everybody. It's a matter of taste.

A bit too much for me at first, but I gave it another chance
9 June 2013
The story itself is about an American returning to an island in Japan to rescue his true love from a life of prostitution only to find out she's dead. He listens to the story from another prostitute to find out what happened.

I myself can't go into too much detail because the story is all over the place. I think it would have been better if for one thing if with the exception of the prostitute telling the story to Billy Drago it should have been in Japanese with subtitles. You can tell the rest of the cast didn't have a good grasp of English. Billy Drago is a much better actor than he is here because he really over acts. And there are too many images that are a little too disturbing for me, oddly it is not the famous torture scene. But I can see it as true horror is not monsters in the dark, but what people really do to each other. One more thing, the reveal at the end was really cheesy! So to some it up I gave it a 6 because there is a good story here somewhere. And I have to give a shout out to the actress who was being tortured because she really sold me on that! On the DVD extras she said she really enjoyed filming that and the only injury that she got was a headache from being hung upside down. So that took some of the edge off of this to remind this is a movie. The Godzilla movies aside, this is my first taste of J-horror and I think I'll be back for more.

Masters of Horror: Haeckel's Tale (2006)

A creepy Gothic tale that's well done
9 June 2013
When I found out this was a Clive Barker story I expected a lot of sex and gore, so I was prepared. What I wasn't prepared for was a good story.

It takes place in the late 1700s or early 1800s in a non-specific place in early America. A grieving gentleman speaking old English very well comes to a house to see a woman who is rumored to be a necromancer. He begs her to bring back his wife from the dead, but she tells him to be sure that's what he really wants. After he says yes, she agrees if he would sit down and listen to her story about Ernst Haeckel.

Ernst is a physician who believes in science above all else. Not only does he want to save lives, he wants to bring people back from the dead. (There is a great Frankenstien reference here!). After hearing that his father is dying, he begins a journey to be by his side. He spends the night at an older gentleman's cottage only to find that he has a beautiful younger wife.

I'm skipping some broad strokes here because this because I feel this a very warm story about true love with a horror element.

As a movie it is very well acted, the costumes and sets give it that old world feel. And yes! There is sex in it but I myself don't feel it's trashy and done only for shock value. It has a point.

In the end, for me it's an old fashioned campfire story that that I enjoy. And coming from the mind of Clive Barker, I'm very surprised! There is a good story here.

Masters of Horror: Pick Me Up (2006)

Smiling faces lie!
8 June 2013
Who would have thought serial killers would be territorial? The story starts out when a bus breaks down in the middle of nowhere (of course), when a seemingly friendly truck driver offers to take the passengers to the nearby trading post. Only two passengers take him up on the offer, while two more stay with the bus along with the bus driver. One passenger decides to start walking by her self. Meanwhlie a friendly cowboy walks up to the bus and asks for a ride. It turns out the cowboy and the truck driver are both serial killers! Walker who hitch hikes, and Wheeler who drives picking up hitch hikers. After they dispose of their victims the fight over who gets to kill the last survivor of the bus. And like a good western we have a show down to see who gets to finish the victim off.

This is definitely not scary but it is a good fun movie to watch. It's got some funny moments, some suspense, and a message: Don't hitch hike and don't pick up hitch hikers! Oh! The ending really makes believe in karma!

Silly, campy, but fun
8 June 2013
I never heard of Luck McKee until now. He seems to be a future master of horror.

This story is about this nerd-ish woman who has a fascination for insects. She lives alone in an apartment with her "friends" and has a nosy landlady looking over shoulder. But she does befriend the landlady's granddaughter. One day she gets a package with a strange bug in it and the bug gets loose. She also meets the woman (yes! I said woman)of her dreams, and the mayhem it causes.

This is one of quirky off beat movies that is silly but fun. In the spirit of 'Evil Dead 2' it's just......goofy! But fun!

Grief makes you do crazy things
8 June 2013
This really is a sad story. It's about a man and a woman who lost their only child and carry a certain amount of guilt and will do whatever it takes to bring him back. Even if it means making a deal with the devil. The ending really got me too, I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet. Bit I imagine for those who already saw it the ending somewhat caught them off guard too the first time they saw it.

Every director has their own little trademark and this is defiantly has a William Malone feel. I can see some cues from 'House on Haunted Hill' here which makes this creepy. I always liked Lori Petty because she's a little off beat in everything she does, and it's kind of interesting to see her with hair.

Although I gave it a 7, I really enjoyed it. It does have it's short comings for me, but it is fun to watch.

Masters of Horror: Deer Woman (2005)
Season 1, Episode 7

Watch out who you go home with guys!
8 June 2013
I looked up the story of the deer woman, and Max and John Landis really stick with the legend.

The story is about a discredited homicide detective (played brilliantly by Brian Benben) and a somewhat wet behind the ears patrolman who are investigating these brutal murders where these man are being beaten into hamburger. The only connection is they have been seen with this drop dead gorgeous woman (and boy is she!). It turns out the only way this whole thing makes any kind of sense is if he were accept the deer woman exists, which sounds totally stupid to the detective.

There are some funny moments to this, and Cynthia is perfect as the deer woman. (Come on guys, could you resist that if she's hitting on you?) I did like the references to 'An American Werewolf in London', and 'The Blues Brothers'. It added to the humor and kind of said this movie doesn't take itself too seriously. It's fun and entertaining so that's all that I can say.

A real John Carpenter movie
8 June 2013
I'm a huge John Carpenter fan, and this is the one that got me started on the series long after it left the air. I could go on about him, but when I saw this in the video store for sale used at $3.99 and it was John Carpenter, I had to have for my collection. And I wasn't disappointed.

Norman Reedus plays Kirby Sweetman who owns this theater that show old movies, and on the side he tracks down old films for people. You find out that Kirby and his girlfriend borrowed the money from her father to by the theater but they were both heroine addicts. She kills herself and her father won't get out of Kirby's life. Both of them are living with anger and guilt.

Bellenger (played marvelously by Udo Kier) hires Kirby to track down this film that if you were to watch it, you go insane. Kirby sees this at first as an opportunity to pay off his girlfriend's father and get him out of his life for good and move on, but the closer he gets to the film the more strange things happen to him.

The story reminded a little of 'In the Mouth of Madness', and once working in a movie theater and seeing Timpson working with that splicer it was easy for me to get into the story. Carpenter is at his best here. It's mostly duologue but when it gets moving you really see what this journey is doing to Kirby along the way. Cody Carpenter's score is a chip off the block to his father in a classic Carpenter sort of way. This feels like a John Carpenter movie in every sense. I think that's one reason 'The Ward' missed because it doesn't have that John Carpenter feel. This does!

Masters of Horror: Homecoming (2005)
Season 1, Episode 6

I'm sure this is not Ann Coulter's favorite movie
8 June 2013
When I saw the preview of this, okay it's just another zombie movie. Zombie soldiers are coming out of the grave to wreak havoc, yawn! How wrong I was.

Although Joe Dante makes no reference to any war or people we know he's not kidding anybody. Clive Barker said to him "Ann Coulter will be after you in a heartbeat."

The story is about a presidential adviser who is on a cable talk show along side a right wing political commentator/satirist "Jane Clever" dressed in a skirt, boots and too much make up. (Really Joe, who is this character modeled after? Not Glenn Beck.)When a grieving mother asks the question "Why did my son have to die?", the adviser feels a bit of human emotion for a second and says "If I could have one wish it would be that your son to come back" and then he catches himself and adds "so he can tell you how important this struggle really is." Well, he gets his wish and them some. The soldiers come back, not to eat brains and rip people apart, nope! They come back to vote, and gain public sympathy along the way.

I see many other people didn't like this one for whatever reason but I did. It made me think how we have been lied to about war many times and the idea the government really don't care about people, and say and do whatever it takes to follow their own agenda. Oliver Stone had 'JFK', John Carpenter had 'They Live', Joe Dante has this. Love it or hate it I do admire film directors who not afraid to shake things up and make people question what they are being told.

I can't call this horror, but it's a good story
8 June 2013
Henry Thomas plays a soul dead guy who's senses are very high. He works in a place where they make artificial flavors for food and he has a keen sense of taste and smell. But his life is empty. He is separated form his wife and son and trying to feel something. Out of the blue he starts feeling the emotions and physical pleasures of a woman he never met and is far away. And he falls in love with her because he feels her from the inside. So he sets out to find her.

Mick Garris' movies are considered horror movies, but if you really watch them there is more than blood, guts and gore. They are usually human stories with a horror like twist like Riding The bullet. I got that one right away, but most people were disappointed with it.

This one I liked because I feel for Henry Thomas. When you hit middle age you do kind of get bored of life. I like the movies that have characters that I can relate to, because it does trigger feelings for them. Isn't that what a story is supposed to do?

Masters of Horror: Dance of the Dead (2005)
Season 1, Episode 3

Like a bad trip!
8 June 2013
Dance Of the Dead deals with a post-war America. Millions of people are either dead or infected by 'blizz', an acid rain that eats your skin off of the bone, or if you live you are infected. Scary thought. Of course there pockets of civilization here and there trying to survive. Okay, what do do for entertainment? The story is about Peggy, a good hearted teenage girl who works in her mother's diner. In comes four teenage thugs and Peggy takes a liking to one of them. She sneaks away with him and sees what's out there by going to the 'Doom Room' a night club of sorts to see the 'dance of the dead'.

All of the characters are likable, and Robert Englund's performance is really over the top! I like Tobe Hooper's camera tricks because they add to the insanity of the world in the story.

Good story, fine acting, but not scary in terms of "BOO!" moments, but in the thought of how this can happen.

Argento pulling out all of the stops!
8 June 2013
I have heard of Dario Argento and the movie that keeps coming up is Susperia. To this day, this aside, I have never seen any of his movies. But I feel that's going to change.

This story is about a police detective who's kind of bored of life who shoots a man who is trying to kill this woman. The only problem is this woman is drop dead gorgeous....from the neck down! Her face is hideously deformed. But there is something about her that he can't let go. He brings her home and his wife has a problem with it and his teenage son is impressed with her body. But once he falls under her spell, his life falls apart. But still, there is something about her he can't let go.

Carrie Ann who plays Jennifer is FANTASTIC! She is so into that character that as a guy I can see how you fall for her. But it raises some questions. Is Jennifer a space monster? Was she raised by animals because her parents left her in the woods for dead because she is deformed? Maybe a government experiment gone wrong. Who cares! But it also deals a little bit on how people treat other people who are not 'normal looking'.

I watched it with my wife and she jokingly said this shows how stupid men are when it comes to sex. Yet, it did remind me of this girl that I went to high school with who was, shall we say REALLY BUILT, but she had pock marks on her face from bad acne but the guys still flocked to her.

So, you can take is of how stupid people are when it comes to sex, but I took it as an unattractive woman who want's to be loved. And hell has no fury like a woman scorned!

From the makers of Bubba Ho-Tep
8 June 2013
Wow! This is cool!

This starts out pretty generic, the cute girl driving down a dark mountain road only to crash her car, and she runs into a horrible monster. But wait! This takes some really cool turns and I'll admit I didn't see the ending coming. I really like that when a movie surprises me like that! For me, the story was not about woman being stalked by a horrible monster, instead it was about survival. Sure, there are plenty of shocks for us horror fans, and 'Moonface' is pretty scary. It's one of those movies that you don't see as much as you think you do. But I feel the real story is not about him.

This has a great cast, great writer, great director, well it's GREAT!
