"Les enfants du Marais" is one of the best movies I've ever seen! The scenario is beautiful and moving. It is such a poignant story of friendship! At the end of it, we feel really peaceful. Those who love sex and violence will hate ! :-)

The situations are very well described and taking actors from different countries of Europe was a great idea. Moreover, it is funny to see them speaking english or spanish with their maternal language. And, finally, all the actors play really well their characters, they really must have had fun together during the shooting. I would give a 7/10 mark.

This movie is a real wonder! It deserves many 'César' next march. The actresses are still excellent and fit very well with their characters. The end is not expected at all and until now , I would say it is the best movie of the year 2002. Long life to Francois Ozon !

Many persons advised me against this movie and I didn't want to believe them. But they were right! It is a very stupid movie. The subject was interesting so it could have been better. Most actors are very notable but they look so ridiculous in it. Gabriel Aghion made better films (like the excellent 'Pedale douce' one the best French comedies of all times)!

It looks like any other American romantic movies like those of Julia Roberts (Notting Hill) or Meg Ryan (you've got mail) but the story is a little bit original and we don't get lost at all! We expect the end but seeing this movie remains a time well-spent. Monica Potter deserves to be more famous. 7/10

This musical drama is based on the analysis of the usual relations mother-daughter and therefore can be considered as interesting. But unfortunately, the story is very slow-moving and would have been better for a TV-film. On the other hand, the two actresses gave a very notable performance.

I was pleasantly surprised to see such a good movie. Although it is her first movie, Laetitia Colombani 's script is very well organized and we don't expect at all the real situation! Moreover, the actors played quite well, Audrey Tautou's character being the opposite of Amelie Poulain. This movie didn't get the success it deserved.

It is always interesting to see a movie dealing with contacts between men and women. in this movie, 3 women left their husbands alone with their children and for once -how awkward they may be- they have to look after them, to cook etc... and this gives a really funny impression. In a nutshell, it is good movie with French humor.

What a shame for French people: The original movie 'les Visiteurs' was really excellent and deserved its success; but this one is really pathetic. However, the story is the same but it doesn't fit at all "à la sauce américaine". 9/10 for the 1st one; 1/10 for this one !
