It might sound very strange to you, but the series 11.22.63 predicts in Episode 3 at 23.58 minutes, that on the 28th of April 2021 at 08:35 a British Airways flight from Dallas, Texas will arrive in Frankfurt/Germany, containing a virus that will cause an epidemic of blindness. On the painting on the wall you can read "black Wednesday", at the end of this Episode you hear the names of other German cities, that might be affected. (Munich and Berlin).

Hopefully this won't happen.

Wow, one comment on such a movie, hard to believe it, because it's great.

First, it takes a lot of guts to release a movie so atypical compared to the "hollywood stuff" were watching normally. No stunts, no great looking actors, no digital tricks, no commercial music, no brilliant colors, not even a pleasant hero.

Nevertheless this film offers something, that most of the 1a productions lack off: Credibility!

Dan Eberle plays a loser, who is selling his soul for thirty bucks a day to work as a courier for drug dealers. If that would nor be bad enough, every time he jobs something goes wrong and he ends up beaten up, without money and with even more problems than he had the day before. Nobody is respecting him or taking him for serious. The only thing he seems to be able to manage in his life is his addiction to drugs, he is clean.

So what's so interesting about this film? Well, the fact that it could be a real story, something that really happens every day in every part of the world. The dirty truth, ugly, bloody, revolting and pitiful...

But very interesting, like when two people have a fight in front of you... you can't stop watching, you just stare at it motionless although you don't support it.

Do yourself a favor and watch this movie, it's original, brutal and somehow very fascinating. I will keep my copy and watch it again, what not happens to often.

This is definitely one of the funniest movies since ages and for me it comes right after "the 40 year old virgin" and "The big Lebowsky", which I consider as the funniest movies for men ever.

Gladly all the stupid "hollywood business as usual love stuff" was left out of this one. It's full of surprises and not only a commercial copy of other successful comedies like so many others I have seen within the last 3 years.

I guess I will see it over and over when it comes out on DVD.

Because I consider the music as slightly too commercial, I'll keep the last point for me and hope there will be a second part of this next year.

I've just seen the movie and to say it in the words that I've heard în the movie "Network", I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it any more.

After having seen Frost Nixon last night, I'm so disappointed about this poor intent to whitewash the worst politician that ever got in the position to be the president of the USA.

Not one word about the fact that he didn't even win his two elections to be president, no, this might not have been important to Mister stone. Later on in the white house the president and his crew talk about 9/11, as it would have been a terrorist attack, of course. At the end we see poor W. so disappointed that his crew had given him wrong informations about the existence of nuclear weapons in the middle east.

The film doesn't show any credible truth about the 8 years George W.Bush was president and is the most stupid propaganda movie ever.

Because the actors played well, I give 3 points for them and if I could I would give a -10 for this waste of celluloid.

Too bad I haven't seen this movie earlier, I feel a bit like having missed something great before. The movie has everything I would expect from one of my favorite movies. An interesting story, craziness, action, surprises, good camera, convincing actors and finally music that fits to the story. There are lots of strange people involved into the story, all doing their part that the world of today appears egoistic, money orientated, brutal, sick and cruel. I like the camera work, there are plenty of nice pictures in the movie to internalize, and the melancholic synthesizer music fits perfectly the mood of the movie. I give this movie an excellent because for me it has something magical, something that causes me to see it over and over again.
