I Think I Love My Wife (2007)
Enjoyable Comedy!...Absolutely LOVED It!
This romantic comedy was different. For once, I was not able to predict the outcome of the situation nor the ending. I really enjoyed the movie. The character of Richard Cooper is believable and the issue that is presented is realistic, esp. in America. It deals with the temptation to cheat. And even focuses on the ancient issue of whether or not men and women can have a platonic relationship. As well as the question: Is this marriage going to work or stand the test of time or temptation? It definitely is a movie for adults esp. couples. I laughed the entire time. I give Chris Rock two thumbs WAY UP & mad KUDOS...I Absolutely LOVED It!
Norbit (2007)
Hilarious
I guess for some, this movie was full of stereotypes and tasteless comedy. I must say this movie was hilarious. I LOVE comedies. I laughed from beginning to end. It was a comedy/romantic film. I disagree with it making fun of obese people. The character Rasputia was confident, secure, and strong. Would it have mattered if she was smaller? Even in these days, Obese women on the screen are not portrayed as beautiful and confident women who feel sexy inside and out. At least the character of Rasputia attempted to do so, and I think Murphy did a pretty good job becoming this great woman (Rasputia). Some may be offended, due to the boldness of Murphy, taken on this character, but I give him a Kudos!
