Onimusha 2 (2002)
better than the first in more ways than one!
i played this game for 4 days straight and it is WAY better than the first!
the plot is basically the same (mystic samurai must defeat demon horde), but now, you absorb your enemies' souls (ala "Soul Reaver") instead of their power. Also, you can transform into "Onimusha", a powered-up version of yourself with white hair, purple skin, & energy powers.
this is about as close to an interactive movie as you're going to get! (besides playing Max Payne) Pick this one up!
M.A.N.T.I.S. (1994)
an excellent black superhero show!
i saw this show when i was 7 years old. even back then it was a cool show. there weren't-and still aren't-many black superheroes out there, save for Spawn, Blade, & Bishop; and this show introduced a cool concept. basically, a paralyzed scientist creates a bio-suit that allows him to walk and he uses it to fight crime.
after it was canceled, re-runs aired on the sci-fi channel for a while. the only way to see it now is on video.
worth looking into if you're looking for a new black superhero.
Ultimate Fights from the Movies (2002)
This IS the ultimate....
This DVD is the bomb! Granted, it is just a compilation of fights from various movies. Some of the fights were weak (like Liam Neeson from "Crossing the Line [1990]"), but the DVD makes up for it.
By including great fight scenes like Maximus vs. Tigris from "Gladiator", Tsui vs. Commander from "Black Mask", and Bruce Lee vs. Luke Sun from "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story", the producers of this compilation made this a big hit.
I recommend this for anybody just looking for a film with hard-hitting fight-scenes and no teary-eyed drama.
Out Kold (2001)
avoid at all costs!!
this movie SUCKS!!!
it looks like somebody took a home video camera and shot a bunch of people who can't act!
why is ice-t doing these low-budget pieces of crap?
don't even rent this one if you're bored.
