Public Disturbance (2018)
Entertaining
They are somewhat funny, didn't know them from youtube. Good compared to many movies out now.
Duck Dynasty (2012)
Some might like it but...
This show started out great with them hunting and fishing and blowing stuff up, but then not so good. Decently written for a "reality" show guess, but i's almost all fake. For one thing, guess i'll take his word for it that Phil lived in a shack and hunted and sold crawfish and stuff for 20 odd years. Before that, he Started over Terry Bradshaw at Louisiana Tech and didn't lose the job, but quit football so he could duck hunt more. Bradshaw mentions this in his biography. Phil finished his degree, did the shack thing after that for a while, then went back and got his masters' degree and taught for a while before quitting and going back to shack again and working on the duck call which got him rich. Willie was degree from somewhere, you can tell; most of them just think up ways to act stupid. I mean they lived near swamp all of their lives and they act like ppl from the city would out there for effect. Good family show maybe but if u want to see them really do stuff in swamp maybe check out their old shows on outdoor channel or something.
Repo Men (2010)
Liked it, could have been a lot better.
I really liked it overall, but I'd agree w/ the poster who called it vapid. It was gross, blood and guts, exciting, and interesting at times but it just seemed like a few changes could have put it into very good category. Just some nonsensical story scenes, some obviously implausible action scenes (hat to nitpick fighting scenes too much but it wasn't the xtreme fighting, it was just case in point- the heroine runs out of ammo in her pistol-; at least 3 guys who she killed still have rounds in their former pistols, but she continues on unarmed; her pursuer of course picks up one of the dropped pistols to shoot her), and more careful story and character development would have made it a lot better with relatively minor tweaks by a professional screenwriter, especially since there was a lot of good to it. 7 may be a stretch for this picture, but overall I really did enjoy it more than most 6ish movies. The 3 main leads all did pretty well with what they had to work with- to me Forest Whitaker does about as much as he can with every role he's in.
