Nikki Loves Rocco (1996)
Dinner party, anyone?
This one is another in the series of "... Loves Rocco" movies produced by Vivid. They put out several of the "... Loves Rocco" films to showcase the, ahem, "talents" of Rocco Siffredi.
Here's the basic premise of the plot - a group of three California yuppie couples have boring dinner parties where each hostess tries to outcook the other hostesses. Enter a swinger couple who unwittingly stumbled upon the wrong party, and the three stuffy couples quickly learn to unwind.
Standard fare as far as the action scenes go, although there is one very public scene where a couple is on an overpass overlooking a busy freeway - very cool. Other than that, the women are good looking for the most part, and the men are professionals. There is also a non-action cameo by the Great Ron Jeremy.
The DVD offers a few action scenes with multiple angles, and also contains bonus video of action clips from other movies. All in all, not the best adult film I've seen, but good for its purpose.
Taboo II (1982)
This one has it all!
Perhaps it was because this was my first experience with a porn film, perhaps it was because I first saw it during my teenage years, but this movie is by far the best I've ever seen in its genre. I'm not sure if spoilers count in a porn film, since you usually know what's going to happen anyway, but this film deals with incest - more than a little unsettling if you stop to think about it, but in a porn film, you can suspend disbelief to enjoy the scenes.
Start with a family of four - Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister. Throw in every sexual combo of these four (at least once), then Brother with Girlfriend, Brother with Sister's ex-boyfriend's Mom, Sister with Brother's Girlfriend, and a great big party scene with Brother, Sister, and lots of other folks - including the Great Ron Jeremy. The film is full of action, the participants are (mostly) good-looking, and there is enough variety to keep things interesting.
Not much for plot, although Sister is trying to get Dad to buy her a car. Will she convince him? See for yourself!
Overall, I found this film to be extremely fun, and it has been my measuring stick for other films in its genre.
