Brilliant and Funny
24 February 2023
For those who posted saying they have to rewatch, I totally get it.

This is so funny and brilliant and I think you've got to have a certain level of intelligence to get it. If you do, it's hilarious!

I love her interviews with the experts on the topics. How they keep a straight face doing this I've got no idea. My favorite is when she learns that the nuclear weapons the UK has are not blanks but real weapons and she is visibly distraught and wants to change the subject to ask the expert who his favorite band is.

I'm excited to watch this again! Nice to see something good on Netflix! Bravo!!

Smart, slightly sarcastic, with a heart!

I wish there was something I could do to get more seasons made. This is brilliant!

This show has so many wonderful traits that I don't know where to begin.

Brendon, Melissa, and Jason are so sweet as the friends working on making their own movies, yet at the same time, they've got a lot of intelligence.

And the other characters are so hilarious and have their flaws that are so easy to be picked on.

Between the animation, cool music, and witty dialogue, this is a masterpiece!

If I ever meet anyone who watches this and says "This is stupid. I don't get it" I'm pretty sure I won't click with them.

Yes, chef!
21 October 2022
After hearing great reviews about this show, I thought I'd give it a chance. It took me an episode and a half and I was all in.

The characters are interesting with their own back stories and at first glance wasn't sure about them and then by the third episode, I found them likable and was empathetic to them.

There's this underlying conflict with keeping the restaurant the way it was and what potential it has to be if the others were willing to change.

This series has a lot of potential. I am looking forward already to another season. A lot to explore with the way this was set up. Well done, chef!!

Superman & Lois (2021–2024)

Likeable characters
7 September 2022
I'm really out of touch with the whole superheroes universe in the movies and prefer things a little more simple and straightforward.

I was pleasantly surprised watching this. Easy to follow along and could watch right away and get into it.

Good people characters are likeable and relatable. Only into the first season so hoping it keeps this formula.

With the likeable people in this and great storyline, I've got high hopes for this series.

Clark and Lois are pretty true to their comics. Haven't figured out the whole Lex Luthor plot either but very intriguing.

The one plot line I'm not sure how well is the story between the brothers. I would have expected more resentment when one is more powerful than the other. This could change as time goes on.

F-cking brilliant and fun!

This is a great show!!! Heard about this in the NY Times and I've seen several series that Sharon Horgan was in and loved them all and this is no exception! It's got pieces of everything; comedy, drama, mystery, little dating/romance. Really enjoy the way this story is being told. I'm hooked. Highly recommended series.

Reminds me a bit of Big Little Lies or whatever that HBO series was but a lot more fun to watch and more relatable characters. Gotta check this out.

It will be interesting to see if this is a one series thing given the plot. The actors are great so I'm going they can do another season.

Entertaining but seemingly inaccurate

Always fun to watch when things fall apart for the bad guy or gal, but this series does a pretty bad job of representing how cold, ruthless, and soulless the real Elizabeth Holmes is.

Amanda Seyfried is really trying but just not convincing enough.

Supporting cast helps make it entertaining and more fun to watch.

And just like that, I could care less
6 February 2022
Sex and the City was a fun show and really when you take it at face value, it's great.

The problem with this reboot is that time has changed too much and like a lot of other reviews , this is way too woke and also way too tone deaf.

I got half way through the series and decided to try to watch the season finale (which if HBO Max has any sense it'll be the Series Finale) and got about 10 minutes in when Charlotte confirmed she found a Trans Rabbi. That's great there are trans rabbi but really, she had to do that for her now non-binary daughter?

And just like that, I turned it off.

Kudos to Kim Catrall for not touching this train wreck of a show with a ten foot pole!

Good idea but lackluster execution
4 February 2022
Right away from the title and a few scenes right away, I knew it was a parody, the problem however was the execution.

Kristen Bell, the directors, and producers played it safe and should have camped it up a bit more and the acting should have been a little more over the top.

Plot itself was great, with a fun twist towards the end, but again, they needed to do something to make it funnier.

Suggestion: Kristen Bell is too much of a white suburban woman that makes the series too real. They need a main character that doesn't fit the Hallmark/Lifetime movie genre to add the fun to it.

Well constructed documentary
4 February 2022
There's a lot of reviews saying the women are plastic. I'm not sure I buy that.

This documentary was well constructed and while there's the saying "if it's too good to be true..." but really this guy is a first class con artist and plain evil. I guess also add he's complete eurotrash!

I would give these girls a break because they actually met this guy in person further thinking they can trust him. Also working for a while investigating fraud, I know these guys are good.

I'm in the middle of this but have a feeling it'll have a just ending.

Kudos to Netflix for putting something interesting out there.
