Wish I could give it zero stars.

Strange New Worlds is, well, Worlds apart from this crap sandwich.

It's frustrating to watch knowing the plot points 10 minutes before the characters know and understand. You can see where it's going a mile away. These characters will talk their opposition to death.

The writing alone is incoherent crap. They step on their own canon each and every step. At times it's ok but then they go back to this sad story that the writers trapped themselves in and things go south, way south. Very hard to watch and try to guess what might happen next because, anything that makes sense quickly gets tossed out in favor of some magic crystal or other. There was better writing on the animated series. Very disappointed. If you loved the JJ Star Wars that came out in the last couple of years, you'll love this. Everyone else, Just stick the classic Trek.

I was all set to like this remake. Love the cast, story idea, but the script, when put on film, sucks so bad, makes this version almost unable to watch. Very disappointed. Aside for some sight gags that are so so, and 2 laughs. That's what I counted. Not very funny. I actually felt sorry for all involved. I mean after everyone was hating on this movie for having girls cast as the Ghostbusters, then to see it be even worse than everyone thought, that's gotta hurt. Direction was OK but the story just wasn't fun. Sorry, it wasn't.

Ghost effects were great but that alone will not make a movie. 2 laughs, that's what I counted, 2. Not very funny other than that.

All in all a good movie for those who like to lie to their kids. The fact that "veggies" like to watch god destroy people for these sins is complete bunk. God destroys without discrimination. Very hard to watch if you find the hole god thing very tiresome. I only wish the "God" people would make something that shows how much god loves us and not bore us to death with mindless dribble and silly cartoons that even kids think is stupid. Only when they understand that fact can they begin to make entertaining movies for the youth of America and the world. Yes they look cute but what does talking vegetables teach them other than adults lie to them

A must see. Might not be like the books but very close. A lot of fun to watch. Most people that I saw it with were wishing there was more to see, even though it was 3 hours long. That, I think, says a lot for a movie.
