Miss Willoughby and the Haunted Bookshop (2021)

I'm not quite sure why this movie got so many negative reviews and comments. It could just be that they do not understand British humor and television. In my opinion this has been a completely brilliant British whodunit. Kelsey Grammer is excellent and his role. The lead actress is likable and interesting. It has your typical British humor and mystery.

Don't give it a negative review simply because you don't understand or like British humor because as a mystery it's pretty good.

Personally I hope they make more movies together as they had excellent on screen chemistry. It reminds me of a type of Agatha Christie and Murder She Wrote.

Great Reboot

Not sure what's up with the negative reviews. Personally, I think it's been pretty good. Of course we miss Bull, but he can't be on it. In the commercials we see that Roz will make an appearance, which is awesome. Everyone seems to want the original, but we'll never get that because 2 of the originals are deceased. Try to look at this like a stand alone show. It has great comedic moments and the dramatic and heartfelt moments too. Just give it a chance and you'll be pleasantly surprised. I love that Dan is on it. He was always an intrical part of the original. They've found ways to try to include Harry, which is great.

Best JFK Documentary I've Seen

This documentary shines a very bright light on the lies and deception by our government. It shows how little our government thinks the people they work for need to know.

This factually based documentary gives the actual doctors that were in the room on that fateful day November 22nd, 1963.

The lies our government told us made us question what really happened that day. This documentary gives not only the Doctors, but also witnesses a voice. It shines a new light on Lee Harvey Oswald.

It shows how far government overreach will go to protect what they don't want you to know.

I've been called a conspiracy theorist for thinking Oswald was framed. For thinking our government lied to us.

...... It's not a conspiracy when things are proven true.

Life with Dog (2018)

Pretty decent film

A pretty decent film with good acting. Beautiful story about love, loss, grief, forgiveness, and finding your way back from the depths of depression. It's also a beautiful story about how dogs can find you at just the right moment and help you work through your grief.

Those that gave it a 1 star truly don't understand this type of film. One even gave it one star because it had a ghost and she didn't think that was biblical. I mean really???

This type of film actually requires you to put yourself in the shoes of the main character and feel what they're feeling. This is a film of great depth. Give it a chance, you'll enjoy it.

Alone in the Woods (2022)

AWFUL isn't a strong enough word

Seriously, I'd love the 2 hours back of my life I wasted watching this. There was zero horror. Zero suspense. Zero drama. Zero zero zero zero everything. The first hour was spent with very little at all. In the first hour you see him get fired, go for a jog, and look for the house. It's so ungodly slow that I found myself wishing someone would just kill the main character. The 2nd hour wasn't much better at all. The acting and effects were beyond bad. You never even really see a witch in the entire movie. The costume was awful and reminiscent of the movie Scream. The ONLY good thing about the entire movie was the main characters friend from work. He was at least funny.

Don't waste your time watching this. Seriously, you've been warned.

MBF: Man's Best Friend (2019)

Profound Message

This movie touches on the amazing relationship between Veterans and their dogs. It also brings awareness to the sad life of shelter dogs. Ignore the naysayers. This is a wonderful movie. Yes, it was a low budget film, but the messages in this movie definitely make it worth watching. I was so touched by this movie that I went out the very next day (today) and brought a shelter dog home to join our pack. Give this movie a watch. I promise you won't be disappointed, if you have a heart. This movie makes me want to take in every shelter dog that I can find. I'd give this movie more than 10 stars if I could.

Something in the Woods (2015)

Great Reenactment

I've watched this twice now. It's a great movie/reenactment. The bad reviews are obviously people that came into this expecting a Hollywood film. This was meant to be a documentary and reenactment of what happened to this family. If you go into this expecting an A movie with Hollywood special effects, you'll be disappointed. If you go into it expecting what it actually is, you'll love it. Especially if you are a Big Foot lover. The cast did a decent job. The big foot costume was well done. I truly think they did a really decent job with the low budget that they were working with. I'd rather watch something like this, than some cookie cutter remake that Hollywood has been putting out.

One Tree Hill (2003–2012)

Such a wonderful show.

There are shows, and then there are shows that stay with you forever. OTH is one of those shows. They dive deep into subjects that other shows never even attempt to touch on. The characters are real, flawed, and down to earth. No matter how many times I rewatch it, it remains fresh and relevant.

I hope one day they do a mini series update or a movie. The fans would love it.

The actors they chose for OTH were absolutely perfect. It wouldn't have been the same with anyone else.

This show transcends generations. No matter if you are 14, 44, or 74, you'll enjoy this amazing show.

If you've never gone to the filming locations, you're missing out. I highly recommend it.
