The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (2022)
Comback Story?
I was very surprised and pleased with the performance from Nicolas Cage. The story was a great spin on a normal action, suspense movie, and had me laughing toughough, with genuine comedy. I was legit laughing my butt off, Nick and Pedro paired very well together. The movie had an interesting plot twist, some serious movie buffs may have caught on, but us common folk who just want to chill and enjoy a movie would be surprised. It didn't drag on. Everything was to the point, which was refreshing. The only thing I didn't enjoy and I'm sure a lot of others also feel the same way was the CGI version of himself, I feel like the entire movie would have been better without it, although the CGI was very well done. Making out with himself was too far, totally unnecessary.
Angry Neighbors (2022)
Absolutley Abismul - Waste of Time
I made an account on IMBD just to review this "movie." It was free for me to watch, and I want my money back. This is a prime example of why myslef and many others have totally abandoned movie theaters.
This film (I just can't call it a movie because I see better content on TikTok) just doesn't have any structure, and things that seem curtial to the plot are absolutely redundant. It feels like they were just trying to fill up the time with pointless content. Within the first 2 minutes, I was already skeptical when there was a random voice that turned out to be this guys dog? Then there's this massive air conditioner unti that is exreamly loud, that also cools the outdoor air? Okay, cool idea. But this thing looks like a toy, and it has a huge part for the plot, so dumb. We never get to see the antagonist, other than that back of his head while he's driving away after running over Marshes' foot... And once more at the end, while the "big" plan that Marsh was doing, the entire point of the movie goes wrong. He was oddly robotic, I thought it was very weird how he was talking about this buring house, I thought it'd turn out to be some twist, I was waiting, then the end. Black screen.
Worst movie I have ever had the disfortune of watching.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
Outstanding Performance by All
Amazing picture, felt like the classic "Marvel'' experience. When Peter Parker was introduced I got chills, seeing the villains from the OG Spriderman's was so nostalgic. I've already purchased this from Amazon Prime Video, 1. To support the film creators 2. I couldn't wait to watch it again.
The Lost City (2022)
Star Studded - Romcom
The cast is the strongest aspect of this film. Although it had it's comical moments, it struggled to make me laugh physically, just a few chuckles throughout. It turns into a hard romance, lovey comedy, over the top writing, mush. The action throughout was nothing special, and the editing was very poorly done, I was really expecting more having a star studded film. I was really looking forward to Bullock and Tatum paired together, but this wasn't the movie for it to be done. All in all, you can skip this movie and not feel like your missing out, is boarders on waiting for it to be over, and calling what's going to happen next. I used loyalty points to see for free, and I still paid too much, wait until it comes to a streaming service.
