Xin jing wu men (1976)
What's with all the hate?
I get that this movie isn't perfect, but it's not terrible either.
In this movie, Jackie Chan plays a young thief named Ah lung who lives with his uncle and are somehow connected to the jing wu school. Sometime during the film, Ah lung attends Chen zhen's girlfriend's grandfather's 80th birthday party and have a good time. But then the japanese bad guys come in uninvited and somehow give the grandpa a...uh...heart attack? (The funniest and worst death Ive seen yet in a movie.) after that, Ah lung learns Kung fu, confronts the japanese with some allies and other martial art schools, and has a fight with the main bad guy Nakamura.
Even though Fist of fury Part 2 with Bruce Li Is better, this movie still isn't that bad. I'll give it 3 stars out of 5. Go give it a shot.
Shingeki no Kyojin (2013)
The GREATEST anime in history!
I am not a die-hard anime fan, I've only been involved in a few anime/manga series because most aren't that good, but this is a HUGE exception.
The plot is amazing and filled with plot twists. You never know what quite to expect.
The action is incredible and will leave you wanting more (as of this review, the best battle is the season 3 climax.)
Character development is slow at first but it gets better later on.
There's not a single filler episode either!
It took me a year to watch all of season one, but don't wait that long, this series is worth your time. This is not one of the best shows ever, it IS the best show ever!
Si wang mo ta (1978)
Underrated Bruceploitation movie!
This movie was surprisingly fun to watch! Even if this is a loose adaption of Bruce lee's original idea and it's actually Bruce le (not lee), you should still give this one a shot. The fight scenes are incredible, there are some unintentionally funny moments, and it's very fun to watch. Don't expect much of a plot though, this movie is 90% action and 10% plot.
