Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007)
I expected so much more.....
Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. It was brilliant. I loved it. It was adventurous, actiony, and comedy. I knew by the way how POTC 2 ended that POCT 3 would be really genius. But I was wrong.
I got an extra ticket from my brother so I went to see it. The beginning made me think I was in for a bumpy ride. I was. It felt like they just didn't want to try on this one. Like Gore Verbinski just wanted the film to be over(well he kinda did) and just threw the film all together. No Jack barely, too much of Elizabeth, and not much action(not even the ending). I walked out of that theater, so disappointed how it how it ended. I just never wanted to watch another POTC movie ever again.
Shaun the Sheep (2007)
This farm is getting a wake up call.
Let me just say, I wasn't really a fan of claymation. I love Shrek, as you can tell. But, once I heard of this show, I thought differently.
I live in the U.S, so the show didn't premiere for me until July 8th, my brother and sister's birthday. I like little things about animals and this show looked interesting. I watched it and I was very entertained. The stories are good, the characters are funny(especially Shaun). I watch it on Disney Channel every Sunday at 8:55 pm.
I just two problems. My first problem is they should advertise this with video games or toys or something. That would draw a lot of attention to the show. My other problem is it needs to be at least 30 minutes long. I would love to see a FULL T.V show of Shaun The Sheep.
But, despite those two absurd problems I have, the show is great. I recommend it to everyone.
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
A great way to end a Trilogy. Not just the best, but the best.
This movie was an amazing way to end the story of the Fellowship all the way back in 2001. Now, comes the end of their journeys and their destinies await.
The battle for Middle-Earth begins. As Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli prepare for the final stand against Sauron, Frodo and Sam, the movie's most important characters, are being led to Mount Doom to destroy the accursed One Ring. Gollum, now evil after Faramir captured him at the Forbidden Pool in The Two Towers, wants the Rings back and tries to kill Frodo and Sam along the way.
The story is great and so is the acting. There's not much more I can say but this movie was spectacular.
Shrek the Third (2007)
This movie was as good as the other two!
I don't know why people are saying "it lacked that special something" or "not Shrek 1 or 2". I loved it. It was as good as the other two. It had everything: A good storyline and really great action, adventure and comedy. I love all the films equally. I have all the merchandise. I'm a huge Shrek fan, you might say. Justin Timberlake wasn't even bad. It was a good choice for his voice. I love the cast. All the same people with the right voices for each character. Don't listen to what those stupid critics say. Go see the movie and have a good time. Critics have their own taste in movies. They probably didn't like Shrek from the start. I love the Shrek series and I can't wait for the 4th and 5th Shrek to come out(including Shrek The Halls and Puss In Boots: The Story Of An Ogre Killer).
So go see this movie. I LOVE SHREK!
