Ultraman Trigger: Episode Z (2022)
A good movie which Trigger deserves.
After the disappointing finale of Ultraman Trigger New Generation TIga, Ultraman Trigger Episode Z came out as a pleasuring surprise to bring Trigger back on track. This was a very well made Tokusatsu flick with good effects great action and well written characters. Unlike in the TV show where most of the Guts Select Crew members does not get any characterization, this movie gives them a way bigger role in the conflict and some pretty good character writing is presented here. I absolutely love the chemistry between Kengo Akito and Yuna in this story and their dialog is the best. The character of Zabil is also super interesting. As a villain he actually has a believable motivation and a laid out plan to accomplish his goals. This is a huge improvement when compared to the character of Carmearra in the show which basically threw all logic and IQ away and became nothing more than a gigantic Trigger fanatic. Zabil made the stake of this story so much bigger and better than Carmearra or any of the other two dark giants. There are a lot of praises I can give to this movie, its not perfect with the choreography being a bit weak and some dialogs still making little sense, but overall this was absolutely one of the best new generation Ultraman movies out there and a big improved on the tv show. The character of Kengo/Trigger had been wasted so badly in the show and its great to see him in a good story which he deserves.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
In my opinion, a overrated flick
It was a pretty satisfying Spider-Man movie, but I don't think it deserves 8.4. There are some plot holes here and there, characters not having to be somewhere but being there just for the sake of the story, and in my personal opinion the entrance of the other two spideys is a bit lacking. Overall this is not a garbage movie, I just expected something else, something more from it. It did have a good ending though, personally I really love when Spider-Man ends the movie with a mixed energy of sad and inspiring.
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore (2022)
It's a movie that doesn't matters.
All I can say about this movie is that it is an improvement on the previous fantastic beast 2 which was so horrible, but its still not good. The fantastic beast franchise has already been broken by JK and I really hope that warner bros moves on with other movies.
The Batman (2022)
A precious movie made with passion and thought
Honestly I came in a bit late but I just can't hold in the urge to give The Batman a good score. Matt Reeves have truly accomplished something incredible with his screenwriter Peter Craig and amazing cinematographer Greig Fraser, who also happens to be one of my favorite cinematographers out there. The movie is not perfect, it has some problems with the screenplay and there were some flaws with the logic of the story, however the good things that this movie does can basically cover all that up. It's a brilliantly well made movie with great costume designs, amazing acting from Robert Pattinson and everyone else, and insane action. Gotham's design is my favorite out of all of the Batman related media's out there. What I love the most above all of these, is that the Batman managed to successfully be a inspiring story while also being quite dark and depressing. Robert Pattinson's Batman started off as the most depressed Batman ever, and his transformation from vengeance into the hope of Gotham is so satisfying. Like I said, this movie is not perfect, its choreography could be improved in the sequel announced yesterday, there are some small story plot holes, that's why I'm taking two points off, but other than that, good movie. This is a good comic book cinema.
