King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017)
Awesomely edgy and fast interpretation of the Arthurian legend
If you like Guy Ritchie's style of direction then you'll love this one. Charlie Hunnam does what he's best at, and he looks great in the movie. Action sets are glorious. Jude law is perfectly villainous and can't get enough of him. Dunno why critics panned it down. It has a great rewatch value for me. I am hoping we get the planned sequels. Missing some of the knights on the round table which were going to be introduced in the sequels. The CGI while being unrealistic, was good to look at and flew really well with the flow of the story. Don't understand the hate it is getting though, maybe released at the wrong time?
Jayeshbhai Jordaar (2022)
Ranveer is a total chameleon and chose a relevant topic of gender ratio
Awesome movie. Don't understand the negative reviews. All actors are brilliant and do justice. Has its faults but never boring. Ranveer and the girl who played siddi totally slayed it. Shalini and the others were aptly cast.
K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2022)
Director lost the plot from KGF 1
Film logic.
If hero onscreen then slomo shot
Hero says something then all shocked !!
Capture each shocked face one at a time and then group shot.
If hero not on screen then someone will hype hero everyone shocked!!
Capture each shocked face one by one then group shot.
Everyone carries gun but fights hero with everything else but a gun.
Sanjay dutt wasted no dialogue just shouts
Heroine wasted
Bullets wasted
30 mins of slomo+reaction shots
KGF 1 was better.
RRR (Rise Roar Revolt) (2022)
Senseless exaggeration
CGI - laughable
Action sequences - Don't believe in physics
Emotion - over the top
Story - hair thin and depends on too many coincidences
I don't see why this kind of cinema is being glorified at all. This and KGF 2 realistically both shud get at the most 5. Is this some sort of unspoken collective chutiyapa going on that I've not been told abt? Why does everyone want to go spend money on this? 1000 crores !!!unbelievable!!! Just over hyping the hero in slomo and reaction shots of the rest of the cast. Even Hypermasculinity has a limit, which was crossed repeatedly here. I don't understand this hype culture.
