Just watched it out of sheer curiosity. I haven't play the game but seen the synopsis I guess it's like Fatal Frame.

Anyway, I've already watched a lots of horrors movies including another Kimo's movie titled "Ivanna".

Honestly, the actings sucks especially for "Alex" (way too much over dramatic) a looking tough thugs wannabe but ended only just become a people that swears a lot (that's really sucks). "Beni" sometimes good, but sometimes a little bit too over dramatic too. Scene feels too jumpy. The story just so so. I've been wondering what is the blitz used for? The MC's recording with the flashlight and it's OK for the ghost, but when she blitz the ghost died (it's the same source of light, right? So why?). The background story explained almost nothing (just a glimpse and I can already guess the story line)

Caitlin's act helped the movie, visual was good, make ups also great (love the ghost makeups), symbols on the floor and music usage was somewhat good too.

So sorry to say, but it's not that good for me.

Another unlimited budget movies for Makoto Shinkai.

Astounding Graphics, combined with beautiful music. Can't even describe it for its awesomeness.

Suzume takes us on a journey from the island of Shikoku to Kansai in Western Japan, along with the scenery in those places. Even though i haven't watch his other film but this film really amazes me. He also interpreted Japan's earthquake and how the main characters try to prevent the catastrophic disaster. Seasoned with some light romance, this movies indeed bring me heartwarming stories. But for me, still cant beat the best of Makoto Shinkai's "5 cm per second"

Overall is really outstanding.

Out of Curiosity since I've already watched the Gundala and Sri Asih. Overall this movie is a good to watch, kinda like a lite version of Spiderman. It revolves about a teenager with some power to fight the bad guy.

The pros : Has a nice story flow, really easy to understand it. Really described the atmosphere of High School Girl, seasoned with some bullying, romance, and some little jokes (there's some "adult" one though). Actors and actresses even they can be count as a "new" in the acting world but still they can give their best performances.

The Cons : Sometimes there's a scene that feels so weird if u have watched a better CGI, the story feels rushed up (well, that's what u get for summarizing from comic/webtoon).

Still not explained how they got their powers (unlike Gundala and Sri Asih), if u wanna watch full fledged action movies this is not for u (like spiderman the heroes really has a strong moral codes not to kill). And like a teenager they tend to wishy washy sometimes or in other times just rushing straight through like a bull.

In overall its a good movie to watch 7.5/10.

Have read the books, i don't really expect much about this movie (and nope, i don't care about the hype). Just out of my curiosity i watched this movies.

The village and the movie flow almost exactly as my imaginations. But somehow it feels so strange (just my opinion though). As a horror and mystery lover, this movie give me none of those goosebumps feeling.

Overall, the actors and the actresses really put the best of their acting, but bringing narration from the books into visual really gave extra level of difficulty.

Story about Batak Culture intertwined with modern timeline. It's absolutely astounding, Bene Dion really able to direct the whole movie from laugh, to serious, then laugh again, with heartwarming feeling about family.

Perfect movie flow, amazing panoramic view of Toba, combined with Batak's art, seasoned with some light jokes.

I don't expect a lot from Indonesian Movies, but this one really above my expectations, hats off to "Ngeri - Ngeri Sedap"
