This Is Me... Now: A Love Story (2024)
I hope she wasted her own coin for this monstrosity
This was a monstrosity.
A self absorbed, narcissistic woman and this confirms it. She's not as special as she thinks she is.
All of her tracks she is a voice over. Her moves are dull and dead, nobody dances like this anymore it's performative easy listening.... She just loves to look at herself I am convinced and apparently so is the rest of the world.
Stop saying you're from the block! We don't know you!
Then, like this movie isn't enough there's a whole other documentary that just came out about her as well and I just can't imagine somebody being this self involved to think that the public cares enough to see all of this nonsense about a 50-year-old woman that nobody gives a flying figure about but her.
Saltburn (2023)
I'll be the realistic one
This movie is so drab, so basic and so boring that it was too easy to make the poor people believe this is what wealth is really like. It's much more entertaining and eccentric. This is just Hollywood's idea of real wealth and it was so tacky and cheap I am laughing. That is the only emotion this subpar film will draw from me.
Let's be honest. It's kaka. This was overly pushed out because it was well marketed but it is not great. I think it's well produced and I'll give Margo Robbie that but the script and characters are all so very boring.
This is a stereotypical thought of what wealth is, and nothing more. Nice try Margot. I'll give you this, it was well made, pretty aesthetic, but the characters were painfully predictable.
It's only interesting to people that do not know better.
Leave the World Behind (2023)
Ignore low quality reviews from low capacity all stars
I wanted to watch the entire film before giving my review, because this is a project that is actually a nightmare of mine, that I have quite often with the exact same scenario that the writers, Director and producer executed with this film. Honestly this would be such a phenomenal series. It has so many possibilities and the horror from that alone is very intense. The possibilities of who what and why. I noticed a lot of mixed reviews in regards to actually instructing you on what the plot was about and I've noticed that people need everything explained to a tea with perfect instructions and a perfect dissection of everything they interact with and watch, or they lose interest. You really don't have to have a high capacity to understand with this film is about and I think they executed perfectly because in a real case scenario, that's exactly what it would be like. The most real situation was the encounter with Kevin Bacon because your best friend and your neighbors are now the enemy, anyone that might be after what you have to survive. I felt every character was full of depth and could have easily gone off on stories of their own especially the daughter lost in the woods.
The ending was also perfect. People said it ended too early in the story, or it ended with no answers.
You got your answer on the computer screen in the bunker.
It's a Red Dawn / Invasion of another country. But could it have been America after all? That's the horror.
Earlier in the film, when is a little girl was complaining she wouldn't find out about Ross and Rachel and then at the very end she's in the bunker, and she finds the final episode of friends to watch it. It was that little bit of happiness that she was desperately looking for in a world full of chaos. She got it. That was the most hopeless part. It's over now.
American Horror Story: Multiply Thy Pain (2023)
Emma is so generic looking and boring.
I'm being tough at this point.
We are at season 12 and the last three seasons have been unbearable to watch but this season at least can put you to sleep, so it's not as useless.
Listen tell Ryan we already had KIDS and RENT
NYC WAS NOT NEEDED.
SEASON 12 They had a golden opportunity to save the show. They blew it on choosing boring to look at and listen to Emma Roberts. She's not a lead she's a villain with limited scenes but NEVER the lead. She's not her aunt. She's so generic looking I forget her face most of the time. So for me to believe she's an Oscar were the actress and a Lister is absolutely comical. Now that is playing a character but she's so annoying to listen to and she's not very catching to look at, so it is easy to get bored watching her scenes.
I fall asleep. Everyone in our social media groups says it's Emma that's the issue. The story is actually interesting, and I'm intrigued to watch the next episode, but I am dying of pure boredom watching "Anna" and I actually perk right up when ANYONE else comes on screen. I think Emma was just a REALLY AWFUL choice. She's just boring to watch.
Barbie (2023)
Deeper than I thought.
I really thought this would just be a cute movie, but it actually had a very deep message and I really hope people can take the messages away from this movie because there was a few. I think they did great with the Barbie movie. It was entertaining. The special effects were adorable, but the message was so HUGE in this movie.
Watching these light fluffy cute reviews, I know most people missed it.
First of all, Barbie was very empowering in her own world where she could be anything she wanted and looking her best while doing it AND the men were not needed, NOT IN CHARGE and all The Ken's cared about was whether or not, they received any attention from their Barbie
Sound familiar kept wives? Trophy Wives you have no other purpose except to look incredible for your stupid rich husband. That was Ken.
The second she went into the real world. She was cat called had her ass slapped, got arrested for defending herself, and was treated with pretty privilege at the police station all while being treated like a blonde bimbo by people in the street. The complete opposite of Barbieland.
I hope that people can take away from Barbie and Ken how the roles were reversed when they went from Barbieland to the real world and you could see Barbie becoming very anxious and self-conscious, while Ken became very self-confident, felt amazing he felt empowered immediately for the first time in his life, and you could almost see him go from proud to being a man to toxic masculinity within one scene.
The teen angst was a good part too. Barbie was empowering to millions of girls but not to everybody. She has also given millions a very severe complex about body image, pretty privilege and society accepting them only if they look a certain way and Barbieland totally emphasizes that.
Even the biggest Barbie was well done up. Dresses well hair done speaks delicately.
Everyone there was picture perfect. Dainty and feminine. Even the Supreme Court were beauty pageant champions.
This movie is actually deeper than I thought it would be. It was really good I really like Margot Robbie I think she's absolutely adorable as Barbie and I felt bad for her for most of the movie because she went from being a brilliant, beautiful and inspiring idol to some cat called bimbo with pretty privilege in the real world that they wanted to just put in a box.
M3GAN (2022)
Give M3GAN all the stars
I did NOT expect M3GAN to be this entertaining but she scares the hell out of me and I want to say nice things so I don't wake up one night with her watching me sleep after breaking an entering across the United States of the America 🇺🇸 #M3GAN
This was surprisingly good. I was terrified watching every scene with little miss uncanny valley. She looks too perfect so not too human or hyper-realistic. She's very creepy and when she started running in the woods it was terrifying.
I thought it would be cheesy from the marketing on TikTok but it was a well done sci-fi horror film.
P. S. I noticed it's 3 so there were previous inventions I hope they are in a box locked in NORAD.
The Menu (2022)
EXTRAORDINARY! SUPERB!! PHENOMENAL !!! Bravo!
BRAVO!! Well done!!
This film was phenomenal. Ralph Fiennes has mastered his craft yet again. I have watched it back to back just to catch subtle details of Ralph's emotions on his face. The lack of emotion from his never satisfied guests and the ever so lovely Anya Taylor-Joy. That woman can do no wrong she is also extraordinary and I am so intrigued by her in every film. SOLID choice for this film. The film was delivered on a moral platter and everyone should really pay attention to one detail.
The photo of the cook. Not the chef. They cook. The only time he was happy was when life was much less complicated. People he was serving were HAPPY. Normal everyday people brought him the most happiness. Just like Margo. He immediately knew she wasn't one of these miserable losers.
10/10. Pay attention to the little details.
White Noise (2022)
Fake ratings and reviews here's a real one
This movie should have never been created. Should have invested 140 million in a better project.
It was AWFUL. It was BORING. It was a slap in the face to paying clients.
I can't even write a review of long enough, because the movie has no depth. They took a book and ruined it.
The acting was insulting. I understand the point of the way they directed it, but it was still SKATADOOKIE
I think Reed Hastings is a failure and has no depth.
Just like White Noise has no depth and is a failure.
This makes me want to cancel my Netflix subscription and I've been with them since they used to mail you DVDs.
Wednesday (2022)
I've watched 3 times and still going
Just watched WEDNESDAY for the THIRD time. It really was a fun adventure and the beautiful friendship between Enid and Wednesday made me cry like a baby. I loved every episode but the finale was superior. Tim Burton didn't disappoint he never does. Gwendoline Christie is one hell of a woman she is a Goddess. I really loved her in this.
DANNY ELFMAN! I love him I listen to Batman Returns soundtrack weekly.
I also love the Easter eggs to past Burton projects.
I'm a Halloween baby that was always called Wednesday because my black braids. I still wear them to this day watching Wednesday. Loved this!!
I know let's make another season!!!
Blonde (2022)
Gross
This film was based on an opinion written piece of basura. The director clearly just is a depraved pervert that wanted to see Ana in a sexual way. I can't believe Brad Pitt produced this garbage film. It's going to stain Ana's career.
This is just gross and disrespectful to Marilyn Monroe
None of this was factual it's all opinion based garbage.
The entire film is disrespectful and distasteful.
Classless writing, classless acting, and grotesque directing from a truly depraved man.
If you love Marilyn then skip this poorly produced disgusting disgrace. Ana should be so embarrassed. I'm embarrassed for her.
1/10 Stars.
The Immaculate Room (2022)
As soon as I saw Chicken Soup for the Soul...
I knew it would be bland as soon as I saw which media company was behind this. Chicken Soup for the Soul claims to be the most self-conscious aware organization but they are so bland when it comes to their storytelling I'm talking no seasoning salmonella still pink in the middle because nothing's ever finished the way it should be. It's fully cooked with no spices. It leaves so much room for improvement you could make a whole new dish.
That's the only way I describe the effort that went into this dry piece of useless bland chicken film. 🎥
First of all anybody would have full blown psychosis after two weeks, in an all white room with no windows and no exit so you can imagine at 51 days. But no. It was boring. The budget was 5 million. I suppose they just wasted that on the actors because this has no value -it's like let's make the cheapest set possible spend a good chunk on the actors and somehow believe people will love it. It's boring. Fast forward to the end if you need closure. Ok bye.
Not Okay (2022)
It's Kinda OK
Hell No it's NOT ok to fake a retreat in a foreign country for InstaPics.
I was not expecting the usual warning to include
"unlikeable protagonist" but by the end of the film my husband was worried her next trip would be on top of a building....
Spoiler!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't expect a redemption arch there is none.
This is just what we wish we could see happen to the influencers living a façade. FAILURE.
SHE LOSES EVERYTHING. The end.
The Sandman (2022)
Bad review are from people with zero depth
This show is a 10. It was beautiful and haunting. Real while being mystic, look deep don't be so shallow, this show is a masterpiece.
Yes Tom Sturridge as Dream was the best choice. He is so beautiful it's unreal. His eyes are haunting and he is now haunting my dreams at night so mission accomplished. Even if Dream looks like a member of The Cure it works for him? Ok?!? Bye.
Spoiler
Episode 4 the battle between Lucifer and Dream was phenomenal. I've watched that episode 3 times for that scene. Lucifer was molded after the comic and they found the right person for that role as well. Beautiful. Brilliant. Netflix has finally found a show to continue and I hope they do!
The episodes only get more interesting and the story is solid. Well written, well directed and all the casted actors are BRILLIANT CHOICES.
WELL DONE.
Safer at Home (2021)
These gems should never be in films again
I hope the writers and director never create anything ever again for wasting my time.
The actors too.
Skip this one even if it's free. Time is money.
The Man from Toronto (2022)
Netflix mismanages budget
What was that? It wasn't terrible but this is another cookie cutter movie.
Now Imma getting angry.
Look at me Netflix. Imma do it. Imma cancel you! Is that what you want?!? Is it!!?
This movie looks like it was expensive. You have the budget for this fancy flop but NOT shows like
The OA?!?
Kevin Hart was Kevin Hart. Funny and likeable but he deserved better and my boy Woody! They both deserved better Netflix. Most of all your customers deserve better so I suggest you start listening to them and stop ignoring them
You'll be blockbuster in a blink of our eyes and won't even see it coming until you hit the wall of the last blockbuster.... We will run you into it with our cancellations.
Ok bye.
Spiderhead (2022)
Netflix misuses funds.
This was not good.
The book was obviously much better than this boring and basic film.
It was a waste of everyone's time. Extremely predictable and highly disappointing. Look at the cast and you tell me this was a wise investment for all involved. I know Netflix wasted a fortune on this flop. They don't have the budget to renew The OA but this bland basic boring monotonous predictable kaka was approved?!?
First of all Chris Hemsworth is an entertaining actor, he's beautiful and talented. But that doesn't mean he has wide range because to see him as a scientist was just not believable. As a well respected genius doctor of science that was so successful he owns his own pharmaceutical company which is hosting the experiment on this private island in the middle of nowhere and a very futuristic facility. This looks like it should've been a low budget film on Syfy channel. It was not worth 20 minutes of my time and I gave it a full hour before coming to complain on here. Ok bye.
