Unexpected

Wow, was not expecting this to be such a great film. The writing, the acting, the direction, and production value are all top notch. I'm not a big rom-com guy, but decided to check out because I AM a big Keanu guy. He was terrific, not afraid to poke fun at himself, and he really added a lot to the movie. The two leads were flat out excellent. I don't see any weaknesses here and was delightedly surprised. I look forward to further work from these fine actors. And no, I'm not part of the production crew, family, friends, etc. I know many of the people who read these reviews are suspicious of highly rated films, but my admiration is genuine.

Shameful and embarassing

Heartbreaking story and I can safely say no horror movie in my experience comes close to the real life horror of this story. That being said, I'll agree with 95% of the other reviewers who fairly criticize the slanted view the director of this film takes towards law enforcement. Hope you learn something from the well deserved slamming you're taking here, but I doubt it.

Uncoupled (2022–2023)
Pretty clever and funny, at times

This is a light rom-com, and has its' moments, but the best things about the show are Marcia Gay Harden and Jonah Platt who plays Horst and absolutely steals every scene he is in. Andre De Shields is also quite good as Jack. Agree with other poster who compared it to Sex and the City.

Well done

Very well done, I suspect those who wrote very negative reviews are sympathetic to the Russian "cause". The acting and plot are better than average and it has high production values. Is it as good as a Hollywood blockbuster? No, but it certainly does a very good job at creating suspense and has some nice twists in the story. In view of the current European/world situation and politics, it makes its' point.

More Ham than a Pig Farm

Low budget catastrophe that somehow managed to get some talented actors (Coburn, Biehn) and Nick Cage who deserves a category all his own.

Story is hum drum, been there, seen that, but what makes this worth a cursory look is the over the top, scenery chewing, regurgitation, and repeat swallowing of every scene that Cage is in. I believe that high school actors would have used much more restraint that Mr. Cage. Hey Nick, more is not necessarily better, take it down about a thousand notches. What is frustrating is that Cage is capable of much better. The rest of the film is totally boring, performances by Biehn and Coburn are ok. Kinda cool to see small roles for Mickey Dolenz and Clarence Williams, III.
