Brilliant!
22 May 2024
This has been a joy to watch over all 7 seasons, it has covered the complexities of the characters superbly. Good to see a show that show so may main characters with foibles. All I can say is that it is worth the effort of watching it. The final season has been wonderful and the finale of the show, in my opinion, has to be one of the finest I have ever seen. The show makes you laugh and cry but most of all it gives you an upbeat feeling. It is one of the few shows that I actually didn't hate half the main characters which is a feat in itself. I really wish there were a lot more shows like this.

Disappointed
3 August 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Diasppointed that this has finished after Season 3 with so many cliffhangers.

Shame there is going to be no Season 4, the writers obviously believed there was going to be another season.

All I can say is enjoy the 3 seasons that we have because it is a fabulous show. People whinging about unlikable characters do not obviously understand the premis, lots of sniggers throughthe series. Thoroghly enjoyed. Shame there is not more quality shows like this on TV.

No 10/10 given because it got cancelled before a decent wrapup could be done.

Lots of great storylines that are entirely relatable to today's society.

I honestly don't understand what peopl were expecting
8 March 2023
If anybody had watched the original movie they would at least have had an inkling as to what to expect in a TV series. The people criticising this have no clue at all about the movie.

It was light hearted, it's meant to be, it was mediocre on the violence, it's rated PG for god's sake what were people expecting.

It even had a couple of decent laughs.

First episodes of series are purely for introducing characters whu=ich this did.

Most people who put reviews on IMDB shouldn't be allowed to watch TV and review it because they have no idea.

Looking forward to the next episode, here's hoping the whole series is as much fun as episode 1.

Good stuff
15 January 2023
I really enjoyed the first couple of episodes, looking forward to the rest of the series. I like the acting, I like the cast and I like the writing. Remins me a little of Monk. I am interested to see where it heads. The premis is good and I enjoyed the storyline.

As usual some human watches 2 minutes of an episode and decides it is trash, pathetic as always. I am pretty sure that the person is single, pretty hard to have a relationship if you never give anyone more than 3 minutes of your time in order to establish a relationship.

Give it a go and take at a minimum half an episode befor eyou make a decision.

Worst show ever
24 November 2022
Literally the worst show on TV, would be 500% increased with a better lead character. How bad is she, a know it all who thinks she is better than 20 year FBI veterans and don't get me started on her patronising sweetie, baby terms for everyone. How she could ever be considered for the FBI field is beyond belief. C'mon there is not a chance in hell she would pass the physical test. How does a first year rookie get to set all the roles that she does, surely she should be just obeying everything her superiors tell her. The majority of the other characters are actually decent but in real life she would be thrown out on all the rules she breaks every episode. Don't waste your time.

Probably the best show of the year
18 April 2022
I loved dthis series from teh first episode to the last, cannot wait for season 2. I am intrigued by the people who score thius low, it would be fascinating to understand what they like.

What I do not understand is people who write off shows after 1 episode or less.

Anybody who thinks this series is woke has no clue whatsoever.

It has brilliant writing, acting and direction, just enjoy it for what it is.

its' okay
17 December 2021
It's okay, the 3rd episode was a lot better. At least the characters are building again. Probably will watch the rest, I mean it is only 10 episodes.

Can't believe how many bigots can be on one thread though.

The reviews on this show are close to the funniest I have ever read. If people think this show is leftist then they should actually leve the US for a trip OS and see how the rest of the world lives. O much ignorance and tripe on one thread.

FBI International
9 December 2021
I didn't think it was possible to make a show worse than Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders but this one tries as hard as it can to do that.

The latest episode 7th December was so bad, why would any foreign police force be taking orders from some gung-ho American who has no jurisdiction in the country. Why are all European Police Forces shown to be inept whilst all American FBI agent are the specialists of everything in the whole world.

I kept hoping it will get better but I doubt it. I give it one season.

21 February 2020
I used to like this show, but the Jinn and Lynn characters are putting me off completely. Jinn needs a good clip around the head her arrogance is astounding and it makes no sense whatsoever. Will finish this season, not so sure I will be watching Season 4.

Same old Same old
9 January 2020
Wow the world's greatest FBI agent and world's greatest psychologist all in one and on top of it has a 100% closure rate on all his case. This is so real! And then there are the timeline flaws, his daughter is what 13, 14 his wife dies 13 years ago, but she misses her mom, how she wouldn't even know her. Also one episode and they pick a storyline I have seen two hundred times before, so far worst Dick Wolf show I have watched.

It's okay
6 November 2019
The show itself is okay, although the judge irritates me because of what she gets away with, she has been a judge 5 minutes and doesn't listen to anyone and thinks she knows it all already, she would be shoved back in her box pretty quickly in real live. What I really get a kick out of is the insane comments in the reviews, as I read each one I just whisper to myself how wonderful it is not to be a resident of the USA and its ideal that everything in the world is a political statement. Get over it all of you.

Interesting

The show is good not great, but it is a TV show, it is there for entertainment and for that it does it's job. I am so glad I don't live in America where every thing is analysed for political reasons and nothing is taken on face value, must be a really tough way to live your life.

ugh!!!!
5 October 2017
I loved the first season, and I really enjoyed the first episode of the second season and then all of a sudden we get the second episode, which puts all the good work into the dustbin of history.

Every single TV cliché put into one episode it is unbelievable:

Deputy chief who goes by the book and doesn't even accept an arrest as a positive. The Mother who is always right The Father who is always wrong. College is just one big party and sex romp.

Really?

I hope it is one bad episode because I really do like this show.

Updated

I am still watching and I still enjoy the show but sometimes I am not sure whether it is trying to be a cop show or a soap opera and I really don't get the Murtagh characters, Roger is the most clichéd cluless man in TV, and his wife is the typical "I never get it wrong woman". Other than that I think it still is a great show and has some life in it yet.

Quantico (2015–2018)

This is one of the funniest shows on TV
30 April 2017
When I first starting watching Quantico I thought this is intriguing and it might be good, now I just watch it so I can laugh for an hour. Besides the crappy acting, the impossible to understand plot lines and the fact that everybody in the FBI is unbelievably good looking, I have to also believe that no matter how bad the disaster that is going to happen it will be overthrown by one person. She doesn't even wear a cape or come from Krypton. It is so far fetched that I literally laugh through every episode. Alex Parrish takes on the greatest terrorists that the world has ever seen and does it single handed without a hair out of place or a smudge of her perfect lipstick. People actually consider this to be great drama. How it has lasted two seasons is beyond me, when other shows get thrown out after one. Anyway if you want a good laugh watch it

Comedy?
13 April 2017
Well, I just read all the previous reviews and It seems that I agree with the vast majority of them.

It is actually preposterous that anybody would believe that any country in the world would actually give up on their own police forces and justice systems so that the FBI could come in and take over and show the world how to do it.

I have watched all of the episodes and I think that each one becomes more ludicrous than the last. The latest episode set in Singapore nearly takes the cake, this is a country with an unbelievably stringent the legal system and one of the lowest amounts of major criminal activity in the world, yet we are expected to believe that more murders are committed in a 24 hour period than in the previous 6 months. The the condescending attitude of these awesome Americans to locals in countries around the world goes more to how Americans are perceived than anything else. Why would the medical examiner just accept that the American medical person on this team would be better than her, why does the inspector does not accept that he could find the perpetrator, how the hell does Alana De La Graza know every single language in the world and every single local custom but is caught working for a pathetic team in the FBI. It is so implausible that I spend half of each episode laughing my head off.

Don't even get me started on the acting (or lack thereof), I really enjoy the original Criminal minds but this is an insult to its legacy.

All this does is reinforce the fact that the American TV Industry thinks that every other country in the world is third world and even in that they are not consistent. Let's portray every other country as backward but meanwhile we can access the greatest WiFi connections that exist with no buffering no matter where they are, and we can also access every single piece of communication in every country and the blueprints of every single building ever build. The more you think about it the more you realize how much rubbish it really is.

Rizzoli & Isles (2010–2016)

Getting worse by the minute
10 October 2016
I used to like this show, the first couple of seasons were really enjoyable but it has been on a steady decline since then. I know nothing about the books that this show is based on but I hope that they are nothing like they are portrayed here.

The main characters are getting more and more condescending with each episode. If I met any of these people in real life I would be in jail for assault.

As is the norm for all TV cop dramas, all cases are solved by the most basic intuition and in no time, I also find it impossible to believe that every medical examiner in a TV crime show is so multi talented that they not only perform autopsies with unbelievable accuracy but the are crime scene investigators, can find every piece of evidence in two seconds at the crime scene and can all psycho analyse everyone. ME's don't go to crime scenes ever. don't script writers get that.

ALso what is getting worse is the side characters, how could anyone ever put up with Rizzoli's mother, her children are adults and have been successful in what they do why would they allow her to be so interfering, she really is infuriating.

Also all the drama and suspense has gone out of the show, it is like a crime show for teenagers or even adolescents with its so vanilla crimes and lack of chills.

Anyway I will probably stagger through the final season in the hope that maybe one of the main characters gets killed or something At least it would make it interesting.

The worst show on television ever
30 January 2015
How do people actually consider this entertainment. it is the most puerile TV show ever and is not even funny. It is pathetic, my dog could write better scripts than the people this show has on it. I cant believe it passes the censors. It is not entertaining for kids at all. Get rid of it Nick lift your standards. Previously at least you had shows that had some humor and clever script writing with some characters that have substance this show has none of that at all. All this cartoon ever does is talk about fart jokes and other scatological humor which is not clever in the slightest. The writers actually get paid for this crap what a waste of money, time and space. Just get rid of it.

Has some funny moments.
26 October 2003
Unfortunately the one joke can only go for so long. This scenario of body switching has probably been done to death by now, so most of the good lines have been done.

Had it's moments and was enjoyable for some light entertainment where you don't have to think too hard.

I am still scratching my head at this one
26 October 2003
Why oh Why is it that the only movies that are allowed to get good review from the media are the ones that make absolutely no sense at all to the average viewer. Is there an inverse relationship between being able to understand a movie and the amount of stars it receives.

Punch-Drunk Love makes absolutely no sense it has no story line and is impossible to understand, it has no beginning, no middle and definitely no end, I must be simple if this was rated so highly.

Even though Adam Sandler did a good job in his role it really was no different from many of his other roles, where he hits people, in those instances to get a laugh from the audience in this instance to gain sympathy. There are people out there who like to go to movies for the escapism and the need not to think, but the people who earn a living from them obviously need to think and forget about the people who make a living in other spheres.

If you enjoyed this then good luck to you, if you didn't then I am thankful that there are other people out there with similar thoughts.

Fair to Good, not as great as I was lead to believe
23 June 2003
At the start of this movie I though now here is something I could enjoy, but unfortunately by the finish I was just trying to justify my reasons for sitting through it.

This could have been a great movie if it had been a little shorter or had more plot twists and definitely if it had a better ending.

Either I am getting old or just old-fashioned but the script was absolutely pathetic except for Kiefer Sutherland who had some great lines. Why does every second word have to be f'ng this and f'ng that? Everyone seems to believe that Colin Farrell is the next huge thing in movies well he disappointed me in this for sure, I reckon Kiefer Sutherland and Forest Whitaker were loads better.

In the end it had some good parts but it did drag and the weak finish really didn't help me give it a higher score, wish I could have a voice like Kiefer though.

This is my favourite action movie of all time
18 June 2003
This has got to be one of the best movies ever.

The one liners just keep coming and coming. Bruce Willis is brilliant as the former secret service agent and Damon Wayans is also great as the washed up football player.

The first time I saw this movie the opening scene blew me away, I still think it is one of the best opening scenes you are ever likely to see in a movie.

This will never go down as an acting classic but if you like your movies fast paced with some lines that you will quote to your friends for the rest of your lives then this has got to be a must see. If you can't get some enjoyment and escapism out of this then your taking life too seriously and then some.

Very Disappointing
10 June 2003
This movie, although I admit was good, was definitely not great. I think the publicity put it up on a pedestal that in my opinion it never quite reached.

I was disappointed all the way through as I had been led to believe that this was going to be one of the great movie experiences of my life.
