The Incredible Hulk (1982)
You wouldn't like him when he's ANGRY 😡 😡😡😡😡
Every time I read an Incredible Hulk comic book, this animated series comes to mind. Sure I also enjoyed the live action series starring the late Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno as well as the 1996 UPN animated series too but I just like the way Michael Bell portrayed Dr. Robert Bruce Banner. Banner was intelligent yet wasn't a wimp. He was able to handle situations without the aid of the Hulk unless the situations got too stressful or would upset him beyond his breaking point then the Incredible would appear and let lose on whoever threatened Banner and his allies. Betty Ross is also in this version and she serves as Banner's Lab Assistant and Fiancé. Plus, there's Rick Jones the wreck less teenager that Banner saves while getting caught in the blast of his own creation, the Gamma Bomb which cause Bruce Banner to transform into the Incredible Hulk. Rick's Girlfriend Rita and her father Rio. Two characters created especially for the show. Kinda wish they were incorporated into the comic books like Harley Quinn in Batman cause I really those two really brought some humor to a dark and scary series. The main villains in this series even though society would paint them as the good guys were the U. S. Army at Gamma Base led by General Thunderbolt Ross, his hand Hand man,Major Glen Talbolt, the Puppet Master,Hydra,Dr. Octopus and The Leader. My only two complaints about this series is that it didn't have the iconic Jack McGee from the 1970's TV show and whenever the Incredible would change back to Bruce Banner, his clothes would be back on him fully intact. Other than that, the show rocked for you had amazing 80's animation provided by Marvel Productions Ltd and great storytelling by the late Stan Lee. So if you're a did hard Marvel & Incredible Hulk fan then I suggest you grab yourself a seat and enjoy the nostalgia. "EXCElSiOR"!!!
Wu-Tang: An American Saga (2019)
The show is 100%🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I've been a huge Wu-Tang Clan ever since I was a kid in Highschool back in 1993. This show definitely takes you back to the golden era of Underground/Hip-Hop Culture. The story of one man and his vision to get his family and friends out of the daily harsh struggles of the New York City projects is very inspiring throughout this day. We witness Robert Digs become the Rza and form the Iconic Wu-tang clan. A Hip-Hop group that did the unthinkable by dominating the music scene during its most competitive decade. Each member would go on to create and release solo classic albums in their own right. It was an era where music was life and life was music for what you rapped about, you lived. So grab a pair of Timberland boots, army fatigues, roll a Blunt and enjoy the show. "WU-TANG FOREVER"!!!
Morbius (2022)
Wasn't the best but definitely wasn't the worst.
I've seen great Marvel film's and I also seen the worst Marvel film's ever made and I would say that Morbius is somewhat a Borderline Marvel. To me,it would be in the league as the Tim Story Fantastic Four film's,Ang Lee's Hulk,Electra,X-3 The Last Stand and Daredevil. I mean if you got time to kill and would to fill in the void, well by all means check it out sometime but don't except a Black Panther or Avenger's Infinity War type Blockbuster for this film isn't it. Just enjoy it for what it is. I will say this though,Jared Leto makes a better Morbius than a Joker. Maybe Morbius will be better in the sequel that is if Sony and Marvel decide to do another one in the future.
Super Friends (1973)
Only 4 season's worth watching.
If you're a hardcore DC Comic's fan who grew up reading the comics as well as enjoyed playing with the Kenner's Super Powers Toyline like myself in the 80's then I would suggest watching Challenge of the Superfriends, The world's Greatest Superfriends, Super Powers the Legendary Superfriends and Super Powers: Galactic Guardians. Other than that, the earlier seasons consisted of lackluster storytelling and poor animation. Not too mention the addition of the Wonder Twins and Wendy,Marvin and the Wonderdog. I'll give the last season it's credit cause it gave us diehard comic book fans what we wanted to see on Saturday morning cartoons based on our favorite and beloved DC Superheroes for we got to see Firestorm the Nuclear Man and Cyborg from the New Teen Titans portrayed greatly on the TV screen for the first time. Plus,we got to see Adam West portray a darker and brooding Batman than how he portrayed the character in the Inconic 60's live action series. They also were the first to produce a cartoon episode based entirely on Batman's origin despite all of the restrictions of children's programming at the time. Trust you'll enjoy that show just as much as I did for it paved the way for the short lived Ruby Spears Superman animated series that aired on CBS,Batman the Animated Series,Superman the Animated Series,Batman Beyond,Justice League the Animated Series and all the rest of the DC animated shows,TV shows and Box Office movies that would shortly follow throughout the year's.
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (2002)
He-Man and the Master's Of the Universe Reborn!!!
I absolutely loved watching this reboot of He-Man and the Master's of the Universe when it first aired on Cartoon Network back in 2002. They really did justice to the source material. Plus, the animation looks amazing. I only wish it lasted one more season. It had everything you could ask for in a cartoon at the time. As well as a backstory for each of the characters including Skeletor. As a kid from the 80's owning the action figures,I often wondered why Skeletor had a blue body and now I finally know who he was before he became Skeletor and his connection and relationship to King Randor. Anyone who grew up collecting Masters of the Universe action figures will be pleased by this reboot. I highly recommend it.
