Peaky Blinders (2013)
Out of this world!
Peaky blinders is now my all time favourite show. I want to really thank the person who wrote the screenplay. The show is based in 1919 when most folks had just come back from a gruelling World War One. They are still haunted by the war memories, a struggling economy and a corrupt world order. Communism was on the rise and the crown wanted to avoid what happens to the Czar and his family by crushing the communists. In amidst all this, the way the lead character and his family built a business and we're still fair in their dealings is just fantastic. I am on the second season and absolutely hooked.
A for Antara (2021)
Senseless script, terrible acting, disastrous direction
God knows what the director and writers were smoking when they made this movie. The movie had absolutely no story. The lead actress kept screaming throughout the movie, which after a few minutes becomes extremely irritating. The fugly actor is in the movie and he was as forgettable here as he was in the other movies. There's a creepy scene towards the end where two guys are supposed to be goons and the way both of them acted is a proper tribute to the rest of the movie, absolutely disgusting. You just can't stop hating yourself for turning on this cringe fest. I want 15 minutes of my life back. May God bless the Bihari director Anshuman and bless him with some sense. Please go back to Bihar or wherever you're from but don't make another movie, even bhojpuri movies are better than what you made.
