This deep dives into the member who takes care of them all and shows where she can get her strength and that you never truly know what someone goes through and that representation is crucial to be shown.

INCREDIBLE
14 August 2022
This show is so diverse and representative, shows a variety of girls going through something very dramatic, through ups and downs, we see histories of where they come from, why they're here and how they can evolve from the island. The episode introduces everyone in the way that makes you want to learn more about them all and not just one character! Everyone is so relatable and the story is super interesting.

Gets better after the first episode and that's saying a lot.

Amazing

The depth to this one is incredible the various problems the girls are going through and trying to figure them all out at once adds so much. There's a lot of meaningful demands and the way everything is handled is very respectfully.

The start is iconic i love it.

Love this episode as it deals with self reflection and identity from multiple characters. It deep dives into much of the depths of how it all happened and it provides additional level insights to the complexity of the show.

IMPORTANT
14 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode handles something incredible important with authenticity. For representing those who are struggling in their youth and have depression as well as those repressed LGBTQ+ in religious homes. The Becca storyline as emotional as it is was covered well and very insightful while representing the hardships a lot of teens are going through. The Shelby storyline is one that needs to be shared because it is such an actuality for a lot of people and it was handled incredibly well.

The acting in this episode was the best it has been the entire series Cried so much watching.

Content warnings are a must on these kinds of episodes cause while it needs to be seen it can be triggering and with how well this was done i can only imagine how hard it would be to watch for those who truly relate.

NEED MORE
14 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This season invites new characters and while the new characters are no where near as amazing as the girls/original characters they provide more insight and experiments! This episode is a series of ups and downs with a huge cliffhanger that needs answers. The entire episode you think you know what's next but you never have it right and it's so interesting to watch!

Incredible
14 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
What I love about this show is that it doesn't shy away from tough times. Like for example the entire show is about an experiment to show girls are superior to boys and now with the boys it's very evident the hypothesis is being confirmed. But in this episode the boys are coming together while the girls are drifting apart. Although these are true the hypothesis is still showing the superiority of the girls even through tough times and the guys taking longer to find their rhythm.

This episode uncovered so many different aspects of the show, the leadership in the boys, the girls divide in some aspects and just everything about the trauma of being on an island and having to unite to make decisions together. Really love the light thats shown on the girls being better than the boys.

Warning: Spoilers
The birthday sequence is so truly beautiful on the girls behalf and they are so truly such a found family. The Home cover is a moment I will never forget because it's so special! The Leah and Rachel scene of making instruments is truly iconic! The boys being able to finally (after much longer than the girls) work together to take down the predator the experiment is going well I love it.

... Not talking about the Seth thing we don't talk about seth out of the boys.

Interesting
14 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
The girls are far more superior to the boys but the contrast fits well within the plot of the experiment, therefore loving the contrasts between the sides. The girls are incredible as always and so multi-dimensional while the boys even with the backstories we've seen seem very superficial an boring which i'm glad to see the girls being better than the guys for once.

As with the new characters this episode seems to be building the foundation for further episodes, so while being slower than the normal pace of the show the depth is still there and very engaging!

Takes a bit to get used to the additional characters but smooth start. The new storyline is different but needed for a scientific study which this show is representing so good start. Girls are incredible as before.
