I am so disappointed. Period.

There is no story development, no character development. How could one believe one little girl without skill to contribute to the fight can finally become the leader in the future? It is nothing new and even worse than all 5 previous movies.

If all possible, the 6th one should have followed the 5th movie. Now the Dark Fate follows 2nd one because of what?

Among all the characters, I could only remember what Sarah did: WTF throughout the movie, and everyone else! So poorly written screenplay, lame.

This movie failed miserably. I am regretting the money and time put in on a holiday night. I would better off work overtime or something than enduring this meaningless show.

I may have to claim spoiler inside as it is impossible to expose the silly mistake. 1, not enough background: why people from Mars wants to attack the cloud city? why they want to kill Alita? 2, Alita was 300 years old in a 500 years from today. Looking back on how earth ran 100 years ago, one can easily imagine 300 years will totally obsolete any technology. 3, no plot. Alita went from naive into fluent speech in no time with just one fight. Yet the most "enemy" she hurt was the same kind of people. 4, no logic. Bounty hunter only do things with money, thus the 2nd bad guy fight her for revenge is merely laughable.

The director can't even tell a story straight. People love because they love and hate because they hate.

Oh, the ending. what was that?! for Sequel? Give me a break.

I normally won't give a low point, to any movies. However this one is not only triggers my disappointment and feeling of misery of wasting time watching, but a desire to warn everyone not to watch it.

I can not believe this ending of the movie, where the solo hero saved the whole universe within 2 sec of count down. Come on, there are way many things smarter! The gang members left the bunker in 5 min before designating all the nukes in the US. Had they leave 10 sec later, there will be no hope to save the world.

The whole plot was trying to mimic previous good movies, such as True Lie and Die Hard. But Fallen failed to follow basic rules of good movie: a make believe story.

Others pointed out correctly that the missile might not be triggered inside the silo even if three codes are given. The basic idea is thus laughable throughout.

I feel pity to see Freeman appears in this kind of movie as well.

What the hell? Nowadays even devils can only bully good guys. Where are their dignities? Maybe the director thought a beautiful lady has better screaming? The movie may be thrilling, but the story makes me sick. This world is not equal, hence there was always theory of next life, under life, better life where in heaven, or hell that is, a equal or more equal place exist. Here we saw from this movie that hell (heaven?) is just like this world on earth that good guys are punished, bad guys with dirty mind live long.

Since the plot of the movie is quite straightforward, that is to scare prepared audiences, it did well in that sense. As for the ending, no new things though, every horror movie ended with bad guys either live longer or good guys being punished.

Yeah, it was about "old" time, where around 1960s. That was about 50 years ago. As I watched the movie, I can understand the story yet hard to imagine to have real meaning to younger generations.

I was caught at the tail of the "cultural revolution", which gave me certain impression yet not enough to fought and live like the old guys.

There were good about old days: people are poorer only in material not in spiritual. When a marriage is made, even out of misunderstanding initially, life lives on for a long long time. It is about loyalty and about love.

The main character, the ticket conductor girl then a driver herself, caught in the end two realms, one seemingly sweet love with the lover going to America, one ordinary yet bitter love which cost her whole live to struggle with.

The hardest part was the title, the road was not led to an obvious beautiful road as the title has suggested. Maybe in her heart?

I gave it 7 our 10 because I can still watch it till the end. On the contrary, I would give 5 or 6 to Transformers because of the extra 30 mins.

It was a little surprise to me how quickly this movie got on the DVD release, which indicates poor theatre sales. However, I found it enjoyable that tells me a story, with routines, hypes, and unexpected endings.

Without the ending twist, I might give it 4. :) This movie tells a legend story that someone sells his soul to devil. While understands devil's plan, this hero grew out of selfish and became a real hero and urban legend. However, why devil finds a non-selfish person to start his deal in the first place is the weak point of the plot.

It makes the feeling to audiences that 30% of the film time is not cleverly spent. The moments of hot girl in a "hot" car and the flattering around are totally irrelevant to the purpose of this movie.

The movie then fall short of telling a complete story.

As for the fighting scenes, the impression to me is chaos but not eye candy because the close up shootings. Also because the good and bad guys are strangled together, hard to distinguish who is who and who is doing what.

Another short coming is the bad guys. Initially they fight the military with no defeat, but they were killed not by the good transformers but rather by human jets! Wow, how advanced we are?!

It is a good move to watch, though not perfect. There are chases, explosions and crashes, which are pretty cool. To utilize the max out if it, a latest F-35 that can stay in air are used, which makes the True Lie scene another version.

Of course the problem of this is there are many scenes being familiar to us. Like the traffic crash in the start similar to the Italian Job, True Lies and so on.

Further, I just can't express the poor plot on several important matters, which, of course, will ruin our hero's action and our country.

1, can't imagine a top notch hacker who can listen to 66.6MHz (can't be KHz). FM radio starts are around 87MHz or so. OK, he can change that! 2, this same guy who are so powerful in cyberspace are dumb enough to install a remote controllable web cam?! Give me a break. Why they even need it?! 3, Down in the basement, we can see the hard disk drive spinning when exposed? That is dumb.

4, every hacker knows to hide their traces. no, not the bad guy here.

5, movies just can't explain what will happen if the bad guys don't want to get money in rich. Whey haven't they just delete the whole database with a bomb? ...

I like all sorts of movies that deal with future. They are different kinds, good or bad, mostly bad. They are different buildings and all kinds of cars. Those make me think about them ... and don't care too much about the CGI.

Was it a bad CGI movie, well, it is not the worst either. I can bare that though, more than other multi-million projects that delivers beautiful scenes but no story at all ... say Horse Whisper? However, it does fall short in some story lines. The whole idea of the time travel is not to touch that can change future. They try to avoid it by minutes before a killing volcano wipes out everything. If so, how can any change other than their killing affects the history? It need to be told more carefully. Maybe not on a butterfly (or moth), but on a bird?

This is the worst 007 series movies to me. I can't comment without spoiler included, because the story was too simple to tell! The title of the movie is all this movie is about. Unlike other tens of 007 movies, Casino lacks complex story and vivid characters. The story development is dull and no ground based. Long and violent scenes were seemed as inserted to make the movie long enough to sell, not very necessary need. The love scene also is unnecessarily composed, unlike all other counterparts.

First of all, the story: the story was 007 trace a bunch of bad guys, and like the poor 6th season of "24", all his leads were based on pure luck. If our success are based on luck, it would be a pity to the safety of us.

Second, the story: the climax of this movie was like a poorly made HK movie that several guys sit inside a casino and everybody is holding a flush. I mean, there is no suspicious in the story telling as we all know 007 must win.

Oh, had I talked about the cell phones? It seems without it, 007 can't get anywhere. So many times the cell phone becomes the only lead. In old days, people just burn the secret written on paper, nowadays people are stupid enough to leave all passwords and account on. Don't they just turn it off? Don't they know the word "single direction communication"? I've heard the case people will use SIM card just once and flush away in real life drama.

The second movie didn't catch a good plot, hence only simple jokes and almost meaningless actions.

OK, this time, this family is trying to go out and enjoy some vacation, together with a competitive rival family with 8 kids. the problem is, The baker family can be really annoying to be friends.

In fact, acting without courtesy to others, only enjoy lossy practical jokes is not funny.

The first movie did include some real problem big family might meet and start to be interesting. The second movie lost its point the moment they enter the lake. The remaining hour stays with the same setting and keep on a little boring.

Maybe the first two movies were OK to watch, or maybe I just liked to finish the trilogy, I spent quite a night in theatre on the third one. However, this movie put disappointment on me.

The story goes that human want to 'cure' the mutants with a new medicine. Some mutants, or evil ones, fight back while the good ones protect it. Throughout the movie, it isnot clear if this cure is good or bad. However, along the way dies the good professor and Scott. There is no obvious reason for their death and makes me wonder if their pay was just too little to last 10 min? The rebirth of Jane is also meaningless, as she didn't do anything, positive or negative or help in anyway the plot goes.

The series of X-Men has fundamental problems in that, if Mutants can't breed the next generation with same ability, they will soon die out. That makes them not a new species, but really an abnormal of human. From this sense, cure them is the correct words.

This third movie didn't explain any good reasons why mutants should be allowed. We've seen so much destruction and killing but not one reason constructive.

Hence the ending of the trilogy is plain and pale.

It is pretty sad to see the director who had made good movies such as Das Boot, will make one with far less quality! Unlike the Perfect Storm, which also has limited members, this movie set to happen in a ship with thousands of people.

Most of them are just staying and play dead from the start which makes the question why should it happen on a cruise ship. Maybe the size of a fishing boat is the perfect size for Wolfgang.

The movie also full of useless screaming and pointless argument. All make this movie puzzled and unbearable.

Right after the survivors start to climb, you will know one by one they will die in the sequence of less importantcy. Unlike previous version, this re-make doesn't have enough dramatics to go on with. In previous movie, the final survivors met someone during their move and a decision was made. This kind of action should at least gives you some room to think of fate and luck. By not moving and following the captain's command, you just wonder why.

Maybe I should not have watched this movie. It was not the type of my taste by all means. If I liked to watch Pulp Fiction, this one is a totally different story. The movie got a very high rating which certainly get me puzzled after watching the first two parts of the movie.

This movie has three independent sections where each one of them explains how a 'hero' defeats all the evil people. Strangely, he always get help from 'whores' and 'whores'. Suddenly, it appears this 'hero' is not a good guy either. Of course, it can't be that clear a movie is about good guys beating bad guys, cause they are all bad. However, the story drags on showing breasts and bodies (under tight mesh dress), with no surprising story telling. Every step is anticipated. Sure, the evil people are worse criminals, but they are not stupid.

The worship of Japaness sword is also unpleasant. Its first appearance in Kill Bill puts it to certain special meaning which never exist in real life. Well, it may just be my unpleasant after all.

The Black and White screen makes me think of Kill Bill as well, except here they have some red and green and blue from time to time. Maybe this is the only interesting part which owns the 3 out 10 rating.

For the two movies I saw recently, the other one is War of the World, I found Stealth not bad. Actually, it is in many place better than the WOW. The reason is, Stealth starts with a well defined goal: to entertain. The WOW opens and ends with nothing.

Do I see real playing of an actor? Well, so go with WOW and the other one Tom made, "The minority report". But we all know the cost to the cast is much cheaper in the Stealth.

Yeah, there are some GC just too obvious, but is acceptable. Yeah, there are some plot flaws (like why every pilot has 2 chutes, the lady only has one?), it is far easier to answer why in WOW Boston was not touched while NYC is totally gone (Red Hat fun?) Yeah, the flying of the plane seems to be much faster than real life, but in WOW, the aliens moves just the same (slower).

Overall, the 2 hour or so show time has paced well. One the beginning sexy bar scene is out of the line. The peace trip to Aisa kind of leading to the result why human can't destroy target but machine can.

Anyway, I gave it an 8 out of 10. FYI, I gave 5 to WOW.

This movie is obvious not the masterpiece of Mr. Spielberg. It suffers from several factor which lead the movie nowhere. The original book the move might have based on have more contents than what was expressed in the movie.

First part of movie, people are running scared. However, the fact that people under pressure will do should be more overwhelming that it showed on screen. The sense of tension is not felt through the movie most of the time. Only near the end when the little girl was lost can we sense a little bit fast paced.

As always, Tom didn't deliver any good performance by all means.

The movie also suffers from several logic flaws. We can't feel anything brought from Internet application and/or modern communication benefits. Though the original book was about 19th century, we should see that.

The aliens (from Mars?) did very inefficient job of killing. Not knowing exactly why they chose to keep people one by one ... for 6 Billion times? The ending is like in ID4: all aliens suffer from our human's flaw. Hey, maybe we should have fed them with some serious illness? Like ... HIV or TB or something? Or maybe it is because of that?
