Stonehenge Apocalypse (2010)
Loved it!
Honestly? It was great in a so-bad-it's-good way. They could not have had a budget of more than £10 and it showed.
The acting (for the most part) was good. That being said, the forced British accents made me wince.
The name says it all, what would you expect from a film with the name 'Stonehenge Apocalypse'? I'll tell you, terrible graphics that could have been made at 3am in the dark, and scenes that don't make any sense (i.e; the Prime Minister deciding to nuke Stonehenge?)
Near(ish) the end I could not tell whether they were in the U. S or the UK. It got to the point that I could only assume that Pangea had reformed and they walked across the borders.
The ending line "It was a robot head!" hit a part of me that I never knew existed before I watched this film. All in all: Laughable graphics and a poorly made film with a terrible script. I loved it!
Bermuda Tentacles (2014)
Yikes
I don't even remember if I finished this film or not. The night I watched it, I convinced myself it never happened. Graphics: Terrible. Acting: Pretty good. All in all, it's alright.
After watching a film as bad as Stonehenge Apocalypse, my hopes were pretty low, which might be why I was pleasantly surprised by this.
Personally, I thought the technical language that was used thoughout the film was difficult to follow. We get it, the writers took a quick glance at Wikipedia and wrote a script that was mainly action rather than dialogue.
I think that my rating is an accurate rating of this film and everything that it represents...Tentacles.
Wonderful enteraining bit of fluff for all!
