The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2019)
I love it!
Pure magic, I truly love it! Watch and be amazed! 😃
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug (2013)
Too little of BEORN!! =/
This part of the Hobbit movies is a lot better than the first one! It's darker, in my opinion more well made and more exciting! I did like the first one, but I disliked that it was so childish. I know Hobbit is more or less a children's book, but anyway I thought it was too childish. This film however is much darker in it's atmosphere, Smaug was very well made and so was all the surroundings. So far so good!
I have read the book, but it didn't disturb me that there where some new added characters. What did disturb me was that BEORN was so little shown in the film. That character should have been a bigger part of this movie! I liked the actor (Mikael Persbrandt) playing BEORN a great deal and really hope that he will be given much more acting time in the next film!! Now they only hasted through that part of the movie like as if the only reason he was part of the film, was that he were mentioned in the book (but wasn't important as a character..?)! That did disappoint me a great deal as one reason for me looking forward to see "The Desolation of Smaug" was to see BEORN! As a result it was a big "fail for me"... I really hope that he will be given a lot more screenplay in the extended Bluray version later!
But anyway, I give this movie 9/10. The first part I only gave 8/10. In conclusion, this movie was a lot better and closer to the feeling of "The Lord of the Rings"-movies!
Tour of Duty (1987)
One of the best shows ever
I remember this show from early 90s and rediscovered it a couple of weeks ago. Have almost seen all episodes from season 1-3 now and it's is one of the best war-series there is!!!!!! >=) A total must see if you are in to war movies etc!
You really get to know the characters. You feel with them, you laugh with them and sometimes cry with them. I tell you, if you miss this one you have missed out on a lot.
I'm only sorry that it is 3 seasons and not more of them.
In season 2 they did not have info about the war as they have in season 1 and 3. Don't know why, but I did miss that during season 2. The statistics that you learn about are horrific and I'm glad I wasn't young back in the late 60s, early 70s and born as an American.
