Dragons: Race to the Edge (2015)
My Favourite Show Ever!
So if you're a fan of the HTTYD films, and you liked Riders and Defenders of Berk, then this show is everything you've missing out on. It's incredible, in every way. The soundtrack is fire, the animation is great, the humour is on point, the romance is handled expertly, the antagonists are menacing and threatening, the seasons are paced perfectly, Hiccup and Astrids relationship is handled with love and care and it builds up to something truly beautiful that all Hiccstrid shippers will love and it's engaging and entertaining to the max. It's a brilliant show. Viggo Grimborn is the best antagonist in the franchise, he's cunning and poses a significant threat to Hiccup and the Riders. Bringing Dagur and Heather back was a great way to tie things nicely with the CN Show, and it goes right into the second movie perfectly. Overall, don't listen to the 1star reviews, they're describing a totally different show and probably haven't even watched it, definitely give it a shot 10/10.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)
A very Good, yet very overrated film!
Into The Spider-Verse is a really good film, animated film, Spider-Man film, it's a really good film no matter what way you put it. The visuals suit the film really well, but it's too choppy and flashy at points which really distract you and take you out of the film, leading to the experience being tampered with. The story is solid, forgettable at points but overall gives you a satisfying story, the characters are give or take, with Miles, Peter and some others being great whilst others really aren't interesting or funny at all. The humour is really hit or miss, and Overall this is a truly good film, it's just a shame people vastly overrate it due to the fact it's a Spider-Man film, the animation and its 'cool' to have this as your favourite animated movie, because whilst saying How To Train Your Dragon or Shrek is your favourite is childish, it's considered acceptable for this to be your favourite, even though How To Train Your Dragon and Shrek 2 are vastly better than this. This obviously doesn't go for all, but I can't get over that. In short, this is a truly good film that gets you invested in its story, but don't believe all the ridiculous praise and hype the film received, it's not that good at all!
