That '90s Show (2023)
Fun Dumb Show
I like this show. I think its perfect to just shut your brain off too. I really hope they continue with this spin off and fix some of the mistakes in it. But Netflix is known for killing shows off prematurely so finger cross that they get a few more seasons.
The main thing i hope they fix is the corny writing. This is not your every day corny television writing. This is like a B rated porno from the 80s style of writing. It get baaad some episodes.
"I feel like a dork"
"Don't feel like that, we are your friends"
"Ahh thanks"
"But you are kinda a dork"
LAUGH TRACK
(This isnt an exact quote but this is the kind of vibe they give off many of the episodes)
Its super cringy. The young teenage audience isnt so dumb they cant comprehend subtly lmao. But still i enjoy the show alot and cant wait for a few more seasons.
Bee & Puppycat: Lazy in Space (2022)
The Chillest of Vibes
This is the kind of show you watch with a cup of tea, on a rainy day. Picture Adventure Time but less manic and for adults.
I love the voice acting. The animation is beautiful. The music is peaceful. I love comedy and all the characters.
My only issue is that I have no idea whats going on. For instance (spoiler alert), theres this pink haired mom in a coma. I dont know why shes in a coma but they keep coming back to her throughout the series.
Then at the end of season 2, she wakes up, looks around, gets mad that her island is ruined, tells puppycat to send the island to space, then goes back into a coma. None of my question have been answered and many more have been created.
Imagine watching a mystery, but instead of the characters trying to solve the mystery, they go out for ice cream instead. The season ends and you gotta wait another year. Thats the kind of energy this shows gives off.

The show is good, not the second coming
I watched this show the first few days it came out and I didn't know much about it going in. Overall, the show is good. I really enjoyed the parts Tim Burton directed. Sucks he stopped half way thru. You can definitely tell a shift in quality after episode 4.
The cast of characters were fun and had great chemistry. Many of them are young so there was some really bad acting here and there, but it was still fun.
The mystery element of the show was done really well. I enjoyed each episode except for the last one. They went full supernatural on us which was weird. It was a complete tone shift and felt out of place, especially for a series finale. But as I mentioned earlier, the show is good. Its overrated but ill still catch the second season.
