two thumbs up
9 February 2004
A great movie, great dialog among the two main characters Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. Very crisp, and vivid cinemotagraphy of the Tokyo scene. The karaoke scenes were also entertaining. And is there a more beautiful more sexy nineteen year old alive in this planet than Scarlett Johansson!? I could not figure out what other movie she acted untill I went to IMBD: Ghost World.(2000) also a great movie.

A GREAT MOVIE
15 March 2003
Remember the Titans was touching, uplifting, inspiring, motivating, and triumphant. It will make you cry at parts, laugh at parts, "goose pimples" will appear on your arms at parts, it will also make you cheer out loud from your seat! A must see.

HORROR
24 February 2003
Warning: Spoilers
I saw Stanley Kubricks The Shining for the second time. It has to be one of the best horror films of all times (at least in the top three). ++++++SPOILERS++++++ "Darling! Light, of my life. I'm not gonna hurt ya. You didn't let me finish my sentence. I said, I'm not gonna hurt ya. I'm just gonna bash your brains in. I'm gonna bash 'em right the f*** in! Ha, ha!" or the part when Wendy finds the tall stack of typed pages of the supposed "book" that Jack Torrence is writing. The horror that was felt by the viewer when every single page simply said "All work and no play makes jack a dull boy" or when the little child Danny was talking to his mother MRS. Torrence... Kurbic was a film directing genius.

value of money
4 August 2002
I am a Al Pacino fan, recently i made it a point to watch all of the movies he has made. After watching Two Bits, it really made me realize the value of money; the work that little Genero was willing to do for five cents, for ten cents, the lady that lady that stole ten cents worth of potatoes from the local grocer! This was not Pacino's best work but i did enjoy watching it.

motivation
25 February 2002
this is a ten star movie because all the scenes were created to perfection...but my favorite scene if i had to pick one is when randall mcmurphy takes bets that he can rip that big marble sink off the floor carry it to the window and throw that entire sink through the window so they can all escape!! (the part of this scene where he makes attempts [to do the impossible] to lift the sink from the floor). the amount of effort he put into that task. he was hyperventilating because he was trying with EVRETHING HE HAD... after the bet was setteled he said "I TRIED, DAMIT at leastI TRIED"...now that's motivation.
